This exciting mod allows you to become a real vampire. You only have to drink blood to become stronger. Don’t you want to be a vampire? No problem! There is another way – you can become a vampire hunter and start fighting those evil creatures. In addition, the mod adds new blocks, items, mobs, armor, weapons, and biomes.

You need vampire blood to become a vampire. The first way to become a vampire is to go to the vampire forest biome, where a vampire will bite you. A day later, you can become a vampire. However, you may be killed. In addition to vampires, the biome is inhabited by ghosts. Besides, the spruce has oak leaves, and the forest is covered with cursed ground. There is a new flower in this forest, which is the vampire orchid.

The second way is even easier. You need to prick yourself with a vampire fang. You can find it in the village or get it from the vampire hunter. Or you can kill a vampire. If a vampire bites you but you don’t want to become one of them, you need to drink milk.

If you become a vampire, you will need blood instead of food. You get two additional hearts of health, as well as become faster and stronger. Besides, you can breathe underwater since the air is no longer needed. Vampires come in different levels. If you want to level up, you need to drink blood. Your level is indicated between health and blood drops.

Apart from the level, you should also improve your vampire skills, which you can find by pressing the P key. Initially, only one skill is unlocked. There are skills such as regeneration, enabling bat mode, summoning bats, etc.

At the first level, you will not burn during the daytime. However, your vision will worsen day by day. Vampires won’t attack you, but other hostile mobs will.

You can suck blood from almost all animals: sheep, cows, rabbits, bears, and ocelots. Besides, you can bite villagers. You can drink blood by pressing the V key. If you suck all the blood at once, the creature may die or become a vampire as well. In this case, it will suck blood from other animals.

You can store blood in blood bottles or blood containers. One container can hold 14 blood bottles. Besides, you can obtain blood from raw meat. To do that, you need a blood grinder.

To increase your vampire level, you need to perform various rituals, for which you need altars. The first one is an altar of inspiration, which you can use up to level 4. You need to fill up the altar with some vampire blood. Level 2 gives you night vision. You will still not burn in the daytime, but your vision will be getting worse. However, there is also a positive side – you get even more health, and you can also drink more blood.

When you reach level 4, you start taking damage from the scorching sun, which makes you burn. You can wait for the night somewhere in a building or under a tree, but there is another way to quickly skip the day. Since you cannot sleep in bed, you can use a coffin to sleep during the day. You will wake up in the evening when the sun goes below the horizon.

To get to level 5, you need an altar of infusion, an altar pillar, and a tip. The more pillars you create, the more you can increase your vampirism level. To increase the level, you need pure blood, human hearts, and a vampire book. You can get a human heart by killing a vampire hunter. The vampire book is usually hidden in a chest, in a treasury, or in a hunter’s house. You can suck pure blood from vampire barons. By the way, each blood has a different purity. The altar will tell you what purity is needed for the ritual.

For level 5, you need 1 bottle of pure blood (purity1), 5 human hearts, and a vampire book. The same is for level 6. However, you need 10 human hearts for level 7. For levels 8 and 9, you should obtain purity 2 blood. The maximum vampire level is 14.

After you unlock all levels, you get the ability to unlock 13 new skills. You can only turn into a bat at night or in vampire lands.

As a vampire, you can craft special weapons that only vampires use. Among them are the heartseeker and the heartstriker. Their damage is not high, but their attack speed is great. You can charge them on a blood pedestal, which can increase the damage.

Besides, you can cleanse yourself of your vampirism if you find or create an altar of cleansing. You will find it in the village.

There are small camps of vampire hunters scattered around the world. Each camp is inhabited by several hunters, who have a tent and a couple of torches. Hunters are different depending on their levels. They won’t attack you if you’re not a vampire. Hunters can be found in any biome, most often near vampire lands.

There is also a new villager known as the Hunter Expert, with whom you can trade new items, such as armor.

Not every village is guarded by hunters. To understand whether the village is safe or not, you need to find a totem, which is located in the middle of the village. Finding it is quite easy since it reflects light and looks like a beacon. You can install such a totem if you’re a hunter. To do that, you need a base and a totem top.

To become a vampire hunter, you need a garlic injection. Thus, you have to find a syringe and garlic. Garlic grows near the Hunter Trainer house. Or you can find it in a chest. Besides, you need an injection chair, which can be crafted or found in the Hunter Trainer House.

Like vampires, hunters have levels and skills. To increase your level, you need to find a hunter who will give you a task to get some vampire blood.

At the first level, you will only need one bottle of vampire blood, then more. The maximum level that can be obtained from a regular hunter is 4. Getting vampire blood is not easy since you won’t get any blood by killing a vampire with a sword. You rather need a stake, but its damage is extremely small – only 1.5.

To improve your skills and level up, you need to find a hunter trainer who lives in the village. He asks for iron, gold, and a hunter’s manual to train. With each level, you need more iron and gold. The hunter’s manual is crafted at the hunter’s weapon table. Here you need books, fangs, and vampire blood. Besides, the manual comes in different levels, which depend on the hunter level.

Hunters have weapons and armor that are only available to them. They also have crossbows. To create them, you need a hunter’s weapon table. Besides, you have to unlock certain skills.

There is a way to become human again. It requires a vampire injection, which is created using vampire fangs. If you turn human, you will die and all your levels will be lost.
