If the player needs to take them to another place, they have to break each chest, put the contents into the inventory, and then transfer everything to another storage location. In general, there are plenty of «pitfalls» here, but this is exactly how vanilla Minecraft should work. The Carry On mod review

We can put a 64-item stack in our inventory, and we may have a lot of such items, but at the same time we can’t carry chests or stoves, even if they are empty. It’s kind of illogical, isn’t it? The developer of Carry On thought about it and created this wonderful mod, which, by the way, has been downloaded more than 77 million times and is regularly updated for all versions of Minecraft, as soon as they are announced and released. In the screenshots, you can see how it generally looks, how the player interacts with items in the game, and what are the Carry On mod’s features.

The interaction mechanics are very simple here: you need to approach the item you want to take and hold the Shift key + RMB. At the same time, you must have nothing in your hands in the quick access cells, that is, the player’s hands must be empty, or you will need to switch between slots (the empty ones). Only thus you’ll be able to approach the item and take it. As soon as the player takes a stove or a chest, they carry it and can’t do anything simultaneously: can’t open the inventory, can’t craft, and so on, until they put the item back on the ground.

But this isn’t the most interesting thing that makes the Carry On mod so attractive. Any of you will be able to carry the contents of chests and stoves along with the loot stored there. The items won’t disappear, and while you’re carrying the chest, all the loot just stays inside. Just install the chest in another place, and you can use the contents again. With this technology, you’ll no longer need to transfer all resources from one box to another every time. If you decide to change the location or sort items, now it’s enough to simply take the chest and move it to another place. This saves the player time and adds interesting visual effects.

Speaking of the effects. If you install the Carry On add-on and will transfer resources along with boxes or just certain items in Minecraft, try switching the game view by pressing F5. It looks great and realistic. But during the process, the character’s hands are absolutely full, and you won’t be able to perform other actions. If a mob attacks you, you’ll have to put the item down first, and only then fight. To install a chest or any other item, you need to hover to the right place and click the RMB. It feels strange at first, but then you’ll automatically determine the locations where to put a particular chest in Minecraft.

The Carry On mod’s functions open up many different opportunities for the player. From now on, you can easily move from one location to another, quickly change the location of your main storages, make colorful YouTube videos or screenshots, and just get the most out of the gameplay. This add-on can boast of tens of millions of downloads, and the developer updates his product for new Minecraft versions from time to time. The mod is included in many assemblies and modpacks by default, as most players are used to it.
