FallingTree: Fast Chopping of Trees

Wood is the main source of materials in Minecraft and one of the first items you have to interact with to make yourself a pickaxe, shovel, crafting table, and a lot of other basic stuff. During your survival, you have to constantly cut down trees, as their wood is one of the most important materials involved in many crafts. And if you do not want to spend long hours chopping down trees, getting to the very top, be sure to install a mod called FallingTree, which will allow you to do that in one click by just destroying the bottom block. That  not only saves players' time but also looks spectacular.

Note! The FallingTree mod on servers can only be on the server side, so you will not be able to download and use it in your launcher on any Minecraft server. It will be available only if the admin has added this mod to the list of server add-ons. On the client side, you can install the mod and use all its advantages in singleplayer, both in survival mode and all others.

Review of the FallingTree Mod

This add-on will allow you to fall the trees in one click. It will be enough just to approach a tree and break its bottom block. All the other blocks will start falling instantly. Moreover, not only the trunk will break, but also the foliage. In the end, you will get a sapling if random generation implies it as a loot. However, the designer has provided several options for interacting with trees, so any of you will be able to choose exactly how to cut them.

1. Instant chopping. It will be enough just to approach a tree, break the lower block with an axe or pickaxe, and all the blocks will fall together, along with the foliage.

2. You can also hit the block with the pressed Shift key to break only the elements that you are currently destroying.

3. Slow mode is another way of chopping, during which you can hit a particular block, and all the others will slowly fall down. Compared to the first approach, only the animation speed changes — otherwise, everything remains about the same.

For this add-on to work correctly, you will need Fabric and Fabric API if you install the mod in the standard way. As for TLauncher, it will automatically download all the necessary libraries to the Modpacks section. To work with Forge, you will additionally need to install Forge Cloth API, as this is an important library for the client that allows you to use the Minecraft GUI and interact with it.

The mod also features a config file where anyone can specify what exactly will be considered a tree. Below is the list of main parameters you can change:

· The materials that will be considered wood. You can also specify a type there.

· The tools you can use along with the FallingTree mod. You can also disable some of them.

· Enabling and disabling falling foliage when chopping trees.

· The cutting speed, depending on the tree size. You can here finely adjust the parameters, taking into account the number of players on a server, server load, and other attributes.

· Tool damage. If you do not want the tool's durability to change, you can disable that in the config file. Alternatively, you can make the durability decreasing by one point with each blow.

The FallingTree mod is included in numerous Minecraft builds, as it is one of the most important add-ons to date. It is used for playing both in singleplayer mode and on many servers to save players time. There are certain Minecraft servers that provide access to the mod's functionality only to a particular category of players. If you are interested in trying this add-on, feel free to install any available version. The FallingTree mod can already be downloaded for Minecraft 1.20.1, and it works great with any launcher.

The mod requires no initial adjustment — all that is needed from the player is to start chopping down a tree. That can be done with an axe or hand, but the animation will always be the same. If you are playing with friends and would like to conceal the fact that you have the FallingTree mod installed, just cut down trees with the Shift key pressed. In this case, the process is accomplished in the standard way, as in the vanilla game version. You can also install a mod called Sapling Planter, which will quickly plant all the dropped saplings. These two add-ons perfectly harmonize with each other, and with the help of such a bundle, you can cut down forests and restore them in a couple of clicks.
