It is difficult for a beginner to learn how to craft items and blocks because, in the vanilla Minecraft, there is no section describing this process. Would like to be able to view crafting recipes without any problems? Then we suggest you install an add-on called Just Enough Items, which will help you in this task. After installing this mod, you will be able to see the crafting recipe of any item and block, if any. You can do that with just one click, which is very convenient. The mod is highly popular, and it has no equal in terms of functionality. It will be useful not only for a beginner, though, but also for other types of players, as they will be able to see the information regarding not only vanilla items and blocks but also resources added by other mods.

After appearing in the game world and opening your inventory, you will notice some changes. In the right corner, you can now see the list of all the in-game resources featured by Minecraft. Besides, this panel will show all the resources from other mods if, of course, you have installed any. There is a search bar at the bottom. Thanks to it, you can quickly find a particular block or item, along with its crafting recipe. That is quite simple — it is enough just to hover over the item or block which recipe you want to see. Then, click the LMB, and all the information will appear on the screen.

Another Way of Using the GUI

If you got some block or item and want to know how to craft it, just hover over it, press the R key, and all the necessary information will be shown. If it is not shown, this means that this block or item cannot be crafted. In this way, you can now learn about the crafting of absolutely any resource, even if this item or block was added by some mod. Isn't that convenient?
