What enchantments do you cast on items in Minecraft? Pickaxes most often require efficiency, durability, and mining. The «Universal Enchants» mod offers the player to complement the weapon or armor with any enchantments they like. For example, you can easily apply loot to tridents or immediately add infinity and repair to your bow. The vanilla version of Minecraft used to limit these moments, but after installing the mod, all boundaries are «blurred». Now, many tools, armor, and weapons will get more extensive compatibility, as well as general range of items for enchantment and their combinations.

Pretty often, the players had to choose what to add: «Protection 4» or «Fire resistance 4», and here it depended on where the character planned to go. If it was PvP, then they preferred protection, and if in the Nether, then it was fire resistance. Moreover, you can control every item you apply enchantments to. For example, if you don’t want a certain effect to be applied to a sword, you can just blacklist it. Another important feature and innovations of the Universal Enchants mod: now you don’t need to carry 1 arrow for infinity, although you had to have one in the inventory in the vanilla version, otherwise you won’t be able to shoot an arrow.

Also, the player will be able to restore items with repairs in a couple of clicks, combine a few spells, transfer effects from one item to another using an anvil. By using the expanded command /enchant, you can now quickly apply different types of effects in Minecraft and enjoy the gameplay. The Universal Enchants mod offers extensive capabilities, and you can’t even imagine how many functions this add-on brings to the game. Moreover, it supports not only standard enchantments from the vanilla version of Minecraft, but from other add-ons as well, but you’ll need to add them in the configuration file.

You can apply enchantments right away, using an anvil or an enchantment table both onto swords and other items from Minecraft. By taking, for example, an axe, the player will be able to fight back with it as well as with a sword, because you can easily add «Strength 5» or «Pushing» to it. Just imagine how the general combat system will change when an ordinary lumberjack with an axe will be able to resist an archer or a bandit wearing a full-fledged armor with a sword. And the new bows are a full-fledged weapon that can be used in any dimension, and you won’t have to worry about its breakage. The same is true for Elytras: repair + infinity is very important for them and it’s «not cool» at all, when they break in the air and the character simply flies down.
