Snow pig

Snow Pig is a mod that adds a new mob to the game called the frozen pig. It is identical to the usual pig from the vanilla Minecraft and differs only in the kind of meat it drops. After you kill a frozen pig, it will drop the frozen porkchop, which can be defrosted in a furnace and turned into the ordinary porkchop.

New Mob

The frozen pig will spawn in winter biomes and have ten health points. It will appear as rarely as the ordinary pig but only in snowy biomes, which means that it will be much more difficult to find. They move much slower than the ordinary pigs, as they are frozen, which is quite logical. One of their features lies in the fact that their eyes will glow brightly during the night.

Frozen Porkchop

The frozen pig drops the frozen porkchop, which will replenish one hunger point and 0.5 saturation points. If you eat such meat, the negative Frozen II effect will be imposed on you. Besides, your screen will noticeably freeze, and you will suffer damage and the Wither effect, although not very strong. To make the frozen meat harmless, it is necessary to defrost it either on a campfire, in a furnace, or in a smoker, thereby getting the most ordinary raw porkchop.

Potion

Besides the new mob, this mod adds the Frozen potion. It can be made by boiling the frozen porkchop in the muddy potion on the brewing stand. This potion comes in three varieties: usual, explosive, and as a Dragon's Breath potion. After drinking this potion, you will rapidly lose your health points. Besides, the main character's speed will greatly slow down, and the field of view will shrink. So this effect is something like an enhanced Poison effect. Given its hazardous nature, this potion makes sense only as throwing or a component for arrows, as it virtually immobilizes a mob and causes damage by halving its health points.
