Seeds : Sustainable World

Seeds : Sustainable World is a small mod that will add several recycling devices to the game. Besides, it will make the player take more care of the environment. Thus, if they still pollute nature, they will be punished thanks to three new mechanics added by this mod.

Bad Grass

The bone meal is a very useful item for intensifying the growth of vegetables and other crops in the beds and without them, but this is unnatural. That is why, if you use bone meal, a hostile mutant can now emerge there in the form of the bad grass. This hostile mob is unlikely to cause you much harm, as it has only three health points and not so much strength. However, the bad grass can become an unpleasant surprise due to its unexpected appearance. Its aim is not you, though, but your crops. Advancing on any crop, the bad grass will instantly destroy it, thereby significantly harming your agriculture. To solve this problem with the destruction of crops, be sure to use the watering can.

Watering Cans

The mod adds three types of watering cans to the game. They differ from each other only in terms of capacity. The watering cans are to be filled with the bone meal diluted with water, which prevents the appearance of the bad grass and successfully increases the crop growth rate. To fill a watering can with this liquid, throw the bone meal into the water and then collect the latter by clicking the RMB. You will thus be able to increase the effectiveness of one bone meal by five times, which is a very significant advantage.

Sharp Leaves

If you do not want to use a watering can, you will have to suffer the invasion of the bad grass. However, it is the latter that drops two useful items. The first one is the sharp leaf. A set of new tools and weapons can be crafted from it. They are very effective — even more effective than the diamond ones — and the sword is slightly more powerful than the diamond one. The sole but significant disadvantage of all these tools is durability — both of them have only sixteen points. Besides, you can craft the new leaf hook from the new pickaxe, a lead, and the sharp leaves. It is a tool that pulls you to the selected block when you press the RMB.

Mud Golem

However, it should be borne in mind that the bad grass can appear even if you look after your beds — right amidst the plains at night. That is why you should either fence the beds or create a special defender in the form of the mud golem. It is a new mob designed to protect your territories from various pests and mobs. The mud golem is created very simply — from a pumpkin and a dirt block. It is quite powerful and so will easily cope with the bad grass. After death, the mud golem predictably drops the dirt, but there is also a chance to get a new music disc. It has fifteen health points, which is not that many. So you will have to regularly restore its health by clicking the RMB on it with a dirt block. You can also make the golem sit down on the ground, but it will then become defenseless.

Waste

The second mechanic is related to the objects you have thrown on the ground. The hostile flying mutants can now appear from the unutilized waste left on earth. These waste mutants are hostile to each and everyone, so not only you but also, say, your pets are at risk. However, the waste is not particularly dangerous, and the mud golem can easily eliminate it. It drops garbage after death.

Repairer

From the garbage, you can craft three repairers in the form of rings for repairing tools and armor. The small repairer restores 50 durability points, the medium one 100 points, and the big one 150 points. To create them, you need to craft the garbage block and smelt it in a furnace. You will get the stuff to craft a repairer.

Trash

Garbage can be obtained in another way, namely using a trash. It is similar to the composter. Besides the fact that you will be able to dispose of unnecessary items, the mod provides you with the opportunity to disassemble tools and armor into components. All this is possible thanks to the crushing stone and the crushing obsidian. The former works with leather, iron, chain mail, and gold armor and tools, and the latter is suitable for diamond and netherite armor and tools, respectively.

Flint Tools

Besides the tools made of sharp leaves, the mod adds the flint tools. They are equal to the iron ones in terms of characteristics, but their durability is equal to the stone tools. Besides, the new tools can occasionally smelt some blocks.

Carbon Dioxide Sensor

The last mechanics are entirely related to the pollution of the environment with carbon dioxide, which has a significant impact on your life. To measure its level, you will need a special sensor made of copper, a compass, and a dioxide carbon tank. The standard safe value for the world is 500. If the level in question is too high or low, the carbon dioxide level will always try to reach this value of 500, either decreasing or increasing.

Carbon Dioxide Rise

You can provoke the rise by smelting objects in furnaces. You can also increase the carbon dioxide level through various explosions. However, you should not worry about any significant increase in this level, as the furnace practically does not raise it, and to substantially boost the power of explosions, you will need a huge number of TNTs.

Too High Carbon Dioxide Level

Even so, if you manage to increase the carbon dioxide level to 600, you will begin to starve. As soon as the value rises to 650, the water will become toxic, and your speed will significantly decrease. If the value is equal to 700, animals, such as pandas, polar bears, turtles, and bees, will not be able to reproduce and spawn in the game world even with the help of a spawn egg. When it reaches 800, the player will start burning under the sun, just like a zombie. Finally, at the critical level of 900, the air will be completely poisoned.

Vacuum Cleaner

It is possible to reduce the pollution level by growing trees or by using a more efficient method, namely sucking out carbon dioxide with a vacuum cleaner. The latter must be used at least 100 meters high. After filling it, you need to transfer carbon dioxide from the vacuum cleaner to a tank, putting it in your left hand and clicking the RMB in a squat. Besides, the vacuum cleaner can attract objects. The gas in the tank can be sprayed onto the ground in the form of dry snow. In turn, you can create dry snow of it, on which you can very quickly accelerate driving a boat. Besides, it causes damage to any mob that steps on it. Dry snowballs can be used in the brewing stand to make a bottle of sparkling water. Alternatively, you can make a bucket of sparkling water from a block of dry ice. It can be poured out. The sparkling water has the same rising properties as the bubble columns of the soul sand.

Sparkling Water

The sparkling water in a bottle can be drunk to satiate your hunger. Alternatively, you can brew three new potions. The Potion of Bounce will allow you to push off from any surface without taking damage, like a slime (this very slime is needed to make it). The Potion of Air Calling will attract the player out of the water (only the glowstone dust is needed to make it). The Potion of Recovering will allow you to survive if you fall into an abyss (it is made from one shulker shell).
