RPG Style More Weapons

The RPG Style More Weapons mod is a large collection of various weapons and armor, four classes to choose from, magic artifacts, and much more for those who would like to change the combat system of the Minecraft universe beyond recognition. For the convenience of using the mod in survival mode, it is recommended to install the JEI add-on.

Classes

When you start the game for the first time, you will see a multi-colored crystal in your inventory. Once you take it in your hand and try to apply it, a menu window will open, allowing you to select your class. There are four of them: Assassin, Paladin, Berserk, and Mage.

A little later, you will be able to craft a special auxiliary book from which you will learn all the most important information about the chosen class, along with how it can be changed. The chosen class will not affect the gameplay in any way and will only allow you to use particular armor and equipment more effectively. Thus, the assassin is a silent killer that, by definition, cannot use heavy armor but has rapid attack bonuses. In turn, the mage does not need weapons at all, as it fights with the help of magic amulets and artifacts.

Armor

The mod features an extremely wide range of various armor for all the available classes. It fully corresponds to its purpose and, when used with the appropriate class, imposes several useful effects on your character. Thus, the special armor on the mage increases the amount of mana and accelerates its regeneration. In turn, the assassin's armor can give the temporary Invisibility effect, the Slow Falling effect, and other bonuses suitable for the night killer. Debuffs are also in place, though. When putting armor of a different class, the player can get the Fatigue or Slowness effect, or both.

Weapons

The new weapons also take into account the specifics of each class and meet its needs. Thus, the weapons for the paladins — knights and warriors of light — are swords of all kinds and shapes. They are average in terms of damage, balanced in terms of attack speed, and can be enchanted as you see fit. As for the mages, they fight using staffs with various effects. The weapons of the assassins are small swords and blades that inflict quite a small damage but can hit extremely quickly and be used with either hand. In turn, the berserkers hit only once but fatally, so their weapons look really powerful and formidable and are focused not on speed but on the force of the blow.

Artifacts

The mod implements a system of artifact rings for each of the classes. These rings enhance the current characteristics of the character, add some bonuses, reduce or increase damage, and can also serve as quite interesting shop signs.

You will be able to craft all these items from the new ores and blocks. Accordingly, two new ores will now be generated in the game world, along with three types of crystals that you will need to find and process according to the vanilla crafting recipes.
