You can move around the Minecraft game world on boats when it comes to the aquatic biomes. Such a way is most often chosen at the initial stages when you just load a new map or generate a new world. Then you have to use horses, elytra, and minecarts, but after a while, most of the locations become explored, but you still have to move on. What then? You have to run thousands of blocks away from the explored territories. So if you do not want to waste your time on redundant travels, be sure to install a mod called Random Teleport Altar, which allows you to teleport to random in-game coordinates.
The main purpose of the Random Teleport Altar mod is to allow players to quickly teleport to completely random coordinates. It can be either a location somewhere nearby or tens of thousands of blocks away. Thanks to such a function, it will be possible to quickly get to new biomes and explore different types of locations, structures, and dungeons. What is most important is that it works not only in the Overworld but also in other Minecraft dimensions, namely the Nether and the End.
The mod adds one new block, the altar, which allows you to quickly teleport to random coordinates. It works quite standardly: you approach such an altar, click the RMB, and teleport to another place within five seconds. You will not know where exactly, though, and it is often very far away… We have deliberately enabled a mini-map in Minecraft so that you can see at what point you can find yourself after the teleportation. Thus, the initial coordinates were 500, 50, 500, but the altar moved us for 9.5 million blocks along several axes. Just imagine how far it is!
No map can load so many chunks of several million blocks, and you will hardly reach such distant spots by ordinary means. However, if you resort to the Random Teleport Altar mod, everything becomes possible. The main advantage of this add-on is that it works with almost all dimensions and biomes. So if you have different mods that add new biomes and locations in your build, that will not prevent you from teleporting using the altar. It indeed moves for hundreds of thousands, and even millions, of blocks. As it is known, in most of the recent versions of Minecraft, the map is dynamic and infinite, so it will never end, and you will be able to teleport to any coordinates.
It is impossible to craft the altar, though, so you will have to use the functions of creative mode to use this block. If you decide to teleport around the Minecraft world, we recommend taking more of these objects with you so that you can return from one point to another. Besides, be sure to place a bed at home and make a spawn point there. In case of death, you will thus be able to quickly appear at your coordinates without having to run back millions of blocks. By the way, such mods allow one to distribute large masses of players around a map so that they do not interfere with each other and go about their business.
Indeed, many servers use such commands as /spawn, allowing you to quickly teleport to the center and get to the main locations: stores, PvP arenas, etc. And if you enable the Random Teleport Altar mod on a server, you will be able to improve the distribution of players across the game world while allowing them to quickly return to spawn. Besides, most servers utilize the /sethome command that allows you to quickly set spawn points at home to return there in a few clicks. The mod under consideration will perfectly complement this system.
The new altar not only teleports you to a random location, but it also immediately imposes the Slow Falling effect, so you will not take damage when you land. As the designer claims, his mod is mainly intended for creators of modpacks, servers, and various projects. But if you wish, you can add it to your Minecraft server and make it available for players or use it in singleplayer mode if you want to quickly move hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of blocks.
The purposes of the mod are limited, but its functionality is enough to make Random Teleport Altar a noteworthy option. It can boast a simple and intuitive system, fast work, and the possibility of using the config file where you can adjust the teleportation radius. That is convenient if you do not want your server to lag due to large distances between users. Besides, this altar can be used for a hide-and-seek mode to randomly scatter all participants. It indeed has numerous applications.
