Overweight Farming is a mod that completely changes the vanilla farms in Minecraft. This mod aims to improve and expand farming by replacing vanilla crops with several times more overweight crops. In general, it is a super interesting modification for agriculture lovers.

Plants

Contrary to their vanilla counterparts, all plants grow giant and have the form of a block. In vanilla Minecraft, plants rarely grow extremely large. You won’t make vanilla plants grow giant even if you use some bone meal.

The Straw Hatcannot be crafted. You can only buy it from the farmer of the maximum level. Similar to the leather helmet, it adds one point of armor when you wear it. This hat increases the probability of growing giant plants. By renaming the hat to Straw, you will get a secret skin where you hold a straw in your mouth.

The Giant Potato is a potato block that gives you potatoes when broken. If you break it with a hoe, you will get more potatoes. You can bake giant potatoes by placing them over the fire.

You can use an axe to peel potato blocks and thus get vegetable peels. Peeling only works with a regular potato block. When destroying peeled potatoes, you will get much fewer potatoes than when breaking them with a hoe.

You can also peel giant beets and carrots, but you cannot bake them. There is an interesting moment concerning the giant beet: when you break it, it drops beet seeds.

While walking through the forest, you can stumble upon the giant apple growing on a tree. The apple holds to the tree with a twig. If you break the twig, the apple will fall to the ground. You can get it with a hoe. The broken twig will recover when you replace the apple.

This apple has its golden option. With the help of crafting, you can create a golden apple block. If you break it, you will receive golden apples.

Giant cocoa beans work similarly to other plants.

Vegetable peels can be used as a food for pigs. They can also be used to create the vegetable compost.

Watermelon Upgrades

You can also peel watermelons, but they still have seeds. By clicking on the watermelons twice, you will completely remove the seeds. If you use an empty bottle, the peeled watermelon will give you watermelon juice.
