Notes: A Notepad for Minecraft

Minecraft is a versatile project that can boast a large amount of content and where you have to remember coordinates, the location of objects, different types of enchantments, effects, and crafting recipes. Moreover, if the user has also installed fan mods, all this can be safely multiplied several times. But what if you need to urgently write down the coordinates or some important thoughts? Constantly switching between the windows is not particularly convenient, and some players may simply experience lags because of such actions...

There is a solution — it will be enough just to download a mod called Notes, which adds a full-fledged in-game notepad to Minecraft. It will allow you to add notes, edit different types of records, and differentiate them for particular saves and worlds. And all this is done by one small add-on. It does not add any new content, biomes, animals, or crafts. It just brings an in-game notepad, so it is one of the important mods in terms of functionality, and we recommend installing it after a thorough reading of our article.

Review of the Notes Mod

Why constantly switch between windows when you can use an in-build multipurpose notepad in Minecraft? Just take a look at the screenshots below and see how cool the GUI of this mod is. It is not just a notepad you are used to see in Windows. It has a completely different purpose and features. At the moment, the Notes add-on can perform the following functions:

· Creating notes in a few clicks.

· The possibility of recording information about biomes, chunks, and coordinates with one key. To do that, when creating a new document, click the Chunks, Coordinates, and Biome tabs and other buttons where the system automatically fills data.

· Creating notes for specific maps so that when you play on one map, they do not affect others.

· Creating global notes that will apply to all worlds.

· Dimension-dependent notes.

· Creating headers to navigate your records faster.

· Quick access to the functionality. Press the N key to open the notepad's GUI.

If you wish, you can click on the PIN tab in the list of sections to display an entry with the contents on the main screen. You will thus be able to move around the Minecraft world and see all the entries. That is very convenient, and if you need to share some information with your friends, you will not have to be distracted from the gameplay — say, when you are running across the Nether, and there is no way to stop, you will be able to dictate data from a screen note. To remove it, just click UNPIN, and it will disappear while remaining in the main list.

It is also possible to quickly copy the records. To do this, just click on any of them in the main list and then click on the Copy tab. The system will automatically create a copy with the Copy sign below. As you can see, the functionality of these notes is broad and very useful for Minecraft. You can use such mods not only in singleplayer mode but also on a server. No admin forbids you to install the Notes mod since it does not belong to the cheat category but simply helps in many respects.

Note! If you are not familiar with the Minecraft game world, you will be able to use the notes not only as records but also as a kind of navigator. Suppose you are in some biome and would like to know its name or coordinates. Just open the notepad and click Chunks, Coordinates, or Biome. You can even click all these tabs at once to get the full information. The only possible problem is that it will be in English only.

The functionality of the Notes mod will be useful on any server, does not require advanced hardware, and is not filled with different tabs, textures, and design features. It has quite a standard font and GUI for working with the records. So be sure to explore the Minecraft world, add notes, and save them either for a particular map or world or all worlds at once. In the future, this will help you find your bearings faster and work with different types of potions and effects when it comes to enchantments or user mods with some special functions.

Note! In the Controls section of the Minecraft settings, you can choose which key will open the mod's GUI. You can always change the N button to another one if it is not convenient for you or another add-on already uses this key for some purpose. If there is no need to change anything, just leave the default parameter.
