Creepy, evil, powerful… Mutant monsters that the Mutant Monsters mod adds to the game are really scary and perfectly expand vanilla Minecraft with something you have never seen.

Creeper Mutant. Large, creepy, green, and dangerous. The most difficult of all the mutant monsters – it has 250 HPs, powerful hits, and can finish your game with one big final explosion even when already dead. In addition, during a battle the Mutant Creeper can summon Minion Creepers – rather low-level guys with only 2 health hearts, but they can explode just as good as their bigger versions.

Mutant Enderman. If you are used to killing Endermen by just putting them in a boat – forget it. Mutants don’t get into boats and ignore the protection room closed by blocks. They can also teleport and cause extremely high damage. They have 200 HPs, which makes them severe opponents. However, you can watch a nice big bang animation after they die, which is similar to the animation that accompanies the End Dragon’s death.

Mutant Skeleton. A huge skeleton archer is nothing like boring skeleton infantry. Arrows, which know no mercy, reach far and accurately, and the skeleton with its 150 HPs can confidently ignore most of your attacks. It falls up into pieces when it dies, which you can later collect and use to craft a decent armor.

Mutant Zombie. A huge muscular green monster. Рas 150 HPs in stock, powerful direct attacks, and the ability to suddenly regenerate when everyone is already sure that it’s dead. Yes, yes, don’t be deceived by its body lying on the ground – if you fail to burn it, in five ticks it’ll get up with 40 HPs and continue killing. To finally neutralize the mutant zombie, you need to click on its body lying on the ground with a fire striker. Thus, the zombie will disappear, and the player will get the «Hulk destroy» achievement and the Hulk’s hammer dropped by the killed monster.

Two mutants added by the mod aren’t your opponents. These are a peaceful mob and a defender who protects your well-being.

Spider Pig. It’s a pig, it’s a spider, it’s absolutely peaceful, even though it looks creepy and has the most standard drop – a little pork and a bit of cobweb. If you want and have carrots in your inventory, you can make a farm of such creatures, just keep in mind when you build a pen for them that spiders can climb up the walls.

Mutant Snowman.A humble snowman has grown to an abnormally gigantic size and is ready to protect your lands. Has around 50 HPs, accurately throws blocks of ice at the opponent – opponents, especially low-level vanilla opponents, have not a single chance against it.

Weapons, armor, potions

The mod adds one new armor – Skeletal armor. You can craft it from the pieces dropped by the mutant skeleton. The helmet is impossible to craft; the mutant skeleton drops it as a whole item. In terms of durability and characteristics, the skeletal armor is equal to the vanilla iron one.

Weapons in the mod are also impossible to craft by yourself. There are three of them.

Hulk’s Hammer, dropped by the Zombie, causes 9 damage points.

The End Soul Hand is dropped by the Enderman and causes 6 damage points.

Creeper’s Cristal is dropped by the Creeper and isn’t about a weapon but more of a large exploder. By using it, you explode a certain number of surrounding blocks together with the mobs being in the explosion epicenter. If the mobs are high-level, they won’t die immediately, but will receive a little damage.

The mod adds one minor potion - Chemical X. Its regular form falls out of mobs, and you can update it to explosive and foggy at the Brewing Stand, as well as make a poisoned arrow from the potion. The potion itself imposes the poisoning effect on mobs and slowly kills them.
