It is a mod that adds various races for Minecraft players. They change the gameplay dramatically without affecting any vanilla blocks or items.

After you launch a new game, you will be offered to choose an origin to play as. There are fourteen of them, and each has unique features and characteristics described in the menu. Thus, Cyborgs are half robots, Magical Flies can fly, Necromancers can summon the undead during battle, Superior Dwarves are master miners, and so on.

Of course, if you do not want to choose anything from the list, you can always remain human and continue your survival in the vanilla style. However, you should keep in mind that when playing on a server, other players may not be as conservative as you and get an advantage over you.

Besides various bonuses, you will also suffer negative effects. Thus, Loraxes are very small. Pandas are vegetarians and cannot eat anything except raw vegetables. In turn, Pirates can only wear gold or gold-coated equipment.

If you happen to forget what exactly your character can do and what attacks it is capable of performing, you can always go to the history section. It contains all the descriptions and hints related to your origin.
