Inventory is the main section, which the player opens most often. You take different loot from caves, put building blocks to build a castle, a house, take experience potions, enchanted books, Shulkers, put on armor, and take tools. All this is done in the inventory in Minecraft, but it’s not as «cool» in the vanilla version of the game as in many other mods, in which the developers considered many of Mojang’s shortcomings and decided to make a versatile tool. And one of the popular add-ons is the Inventory HUD+, which allows you to change the standard inventory in the game and get new «features».

The Inventory HUD+ mod allows you to see the inventory contents without opening it. At this point, the player can easily move around the game world and check, for example, when the inventory is full or, vice versa, will understand when they are run out of blocks during construction. There are also several additional options here: a strip with armor strength and effects on the character. In general, it’s a unique add-on for Minecraft, which must be available to every player.

We can say that the Inventory HUD+ mod is special, as it solves several tasks in the game at once. The main one is to provide information about your inventory without opening it. For example, you have a large number of stacks of different blocks in your slots that you are going to use to build a house. Usually, you put some in quick access slots to switch between them and build, and the rest are in the inventory. And every time you have to check how many are left there. Is the situation familiar? But with the Inventory HUD+ mod, the player doesn’t have to do it…

Right in the middle of the screen, you have the duplicated contents of your inventory. If there are 20 stacks of blocks, then you’ll see the same amount in the middle of the screen. Moreover, the system allows you to see all the changes in real time, and if you use, for example, control hotkeys or such add-ons like Tap Tab (quick movement of lines in the inventory), then the system will be even more useful in the game. In general, it has a user-friendly interface, isn’t it? And if you want, you can adjust its transparency, contrast, substrate visibility, and so on.

Another possible scenario for using the Inventory HUD+ mod is to go down into a mine and extract resources. For example, you dig a large number of tunnels searching for diamonds and collect many different blocks along the way. They are accumulated in your inventory, and you can often miss out on really valuable materials by running past them, since the slots are already «stacked». But using the Inventory HUD+ add-on, you’ll see that the inventory is full, and you need to unload it a little or put all the blocks in chests, throw them out, and so on.

There is also another important option here – to display the armor strength. On the left and right sides of the character’s slots, it shows information about how much of it is left before the item is completely destroyed. For example, the strength of the greaves is 80%, the strength of the helmet is 100%, and so on. As soon as the value reaches 0, the item will break. This is especially important for enchanted or ordinary Elytras, when the character is flying in the air and needs to understand how much strength is left, because after the item is destroyed, it will drop like a stone. Here, you’ll also see information about the number of occupied slots in the inventory (the backpack icon on the right), as well as a quiver with arrows, if the player has them.

But that’s not all! Let’s say you have applied several effects. Before, you had to click and go into the inventory to see them on the right side. But after installing the Inventory HUD+ mod, you don’t have to doit! On the left side, all the active effects on the character are displayed, both positive and negative. The icons are nicely designed, there is a timer, the level of the applied effect, and so on. In general, these functions are convenient and useful for the character, although as for the rest, it’s the same vanilla Minecraft.

With the configuration file, the player can easily change the inventory location, transparency, its position on the screen, and many other parameters. You can control it without leaving the game, just by going to the Mods section and then to the settings section. There is a separate section for backpacks, armor, and potion effects. You can also select horizontal panels, mini panels, and others. In general, there are enough parameters so that each user can perfectly customize the appearance and get information about all the effects and slots in a matter of seconds.

If you often play Minecraft, visit caves, fight mobs, and use potions, be sure to install the Inventory HUD+ mod in your assembly. This is a very convenient and important mod for the game, which doesn’t actually load the system and works correctly with all launchers. The detailed configuration of this add-on allows you to perfectly position all the panels for any screen resolution and receive information, no matter in what part of the game world you are. It works not only with vanilla items, but with other mods (for armor, potions, effects, blocks) as well.
