IndustrialCraft: A Technology Mod With Various Devices

A mod called Industrialcraft adds a lot of technical devices that will facilitate the gameplay and make it even more fascinating. There are also various armor types, some of which will even allow you to fly and be almost invincible, and various tools for resource extraction.

New World Generation Features

Four new ore types will generate in the game world: copper, tin, lead, and uranium. They are needed for crafting various things, and the uranium ore is used to create nuclear reactors that generate a large amount of energy.

The mod adds the new rubber tree. From it, you can get the sapling, wood, and sticky resin. The latter can also be sometimes obtained by breaking a rubber tree block. It will be useful for further crafting.

The basic crafting tools are as follows. The durability of the forge hammer allows you to use it for the creation of 80 different things. Thus, you can craft plates and castings by putting the forge hammer and the necessary metal, say, iron, in the crafting table. The cutter is used to create cables. For example, to craft the copper cable, you will need to get the plates, and the cutter will do its job. The treetap is a tool for extracting sticky resin from the rubber trees. The sticky resin, in turn, is used for obtaining rubber by smelting.

The iron furnace was added for fast and convenient smelting of various ores. It not only works faster but also requires less coal.

To develop in the game with this mod, you will need energy. It is produced by the generators filled with the necessary amount of coal. They can store 4000 EU. The energy is needed to charge the new tools and can be stored not only in a generator but also in batteries. To store large volumes of energy, you will need the storage block, which holds 40,000 EU. For the energy to enter the storage, it is necessary to connect it to a generator using cables. But if you approach a cable, it will shock you, and you can die. To prevent this from happening, you need to insulate it with rubber.

After that, you can use the energy. In the electric furnace, you can smelt anything as in the ordinary furnace, but it uses the energy transmitted by a generator or battery instead of coal. Besides, it works about two times faster than the vanilla one.

Macerator is a device with which you can crush ores. It also uses the energy and gives two crushed ores, which can be smelted in the furnace.

To obtain rubber in large quantities, it is worth applying the extractor. When smelting sticky resin in a usual furnace, one rubber is obtained, whereas the new device will give three rubber at once.

To craft armor and tools of bronze, you need bronze ingots. To get them, you need to crush copper ingots. Besides, you will need a tin ingot, which should also be crushed in the macerator. As a result, you will get the bronze dust, which should be smelted in a furnace. Then you can craft armor and tools from the ingots. The tools include the wrench, which is necessary to transfer devices, since if you break a device with another tool, you will merely get a casing.

There are three devices to produce the energy: the solar panel, wind mill, and geothermal generator.

The solar panel utilizes solar energy to produce electricity. It is very important that there are no other blocks at the top of the panel; otherwise, the energy will not be generated.

The wind mill produces electricity in any weather. To accelerate the process, you can place it at a higher altitude.

The most efficient way to produce the energy is by applying the geothermal generator. It utilizes lava, so you just need to fill the device with a small amount of it.

After that, you can begin crafting new tools and armor. You should keep in mind that they cannot be applied without energy and must be used regularly; otherwise, they will stop working. The mod adds three types of drill to work in mines: mining, iridium, and diamond. They are slightly better than the usual pickaxes in terms of efficiency. The most advanced among them is iridium, but it consumes much more energy: 500 EU, while other drills just 30 and 80 EU, respectively.

You can now extract valuable stones and other resources without touching them. To do this, you can use the mining laser. This tool quite quickly breaks blocks with a laser.

For the fast and efficient cutting of trees, the chainsaw was added. It needs to be charged, consumes 50 EU, and cuts trees about four times faster than the diamond axe.

You can become almost invincible during your survival thanks to this mod. It will be enough just to craft the quantum armor. Having put it on, you will even be able to fly. However, flying in this armor is not as interesting as in creative mode.
