Review Illager Revolution

Illager Revolution

Illager Revolution is a small mod that adds five new unique mobs to the game.

Blade Knight

The first new mob is the Blade Knight. It is a very dangerous high-level mob that participates only in massive raids. It has a very formidable appearance and 90 health points, while its giant sword deals more than ten damage. Moreover, these knights can independently command a whole raid. Further, its sword can revive fallen allies, making them dangerous skeletons or other undead creatures. If the knight's enemy is out of reach, it will either start casting magic spheres that cause significant damage or teleport the closest target to use its powerful sword. If you inflict substantial damage on it, its appearance will slightly change, and it will lose its helmet. Without it, this mob looks like an ordinary pillager but of a large size. Indeed, the knight is much larger than the player and other ordinary entities. After death, it drops a certain amount of experience and, with some probability, one of its swords: either a blade with the runes or a sword with the brown runes.

Fallen Knight

Besides, this mod adds undead mobs, the first of which is the fallen knight. You can see and fight with it only along with the Blade Knight, as it is the latter that summons them. They are quite dangerous mobs, and given that they never fight alone, you will not be able to overcome them without good equipment. Moreover, you should take into account that the fallen knights are immortal: once their health drops to 0, they will break into pieces and revive in a few seconds. They will act in this way indefinitely while their master is alive.

Zombie Illager

Zombie illagers are a weakened analog of the fallen knights. They have quite a standard appearance and 20 health points. Unlike the knights, these zombies will burn and die in the sunlight and drop only some amount of experience. You can determine what mobs the blade knight is going to summon by looking at its sword. If it holds the emerald sword, it will summon the zombies. If his sword is brown, the fallen knights will appear.

Beast Tamer

The beast tamers are very dangerous mobs that can use bows and poisons. Even though they have only 25 health points, the huge damage level and poisons make the tamers deadly opponents. When it sees you, it will immediately summon a fellow and then take out a bow with poisoned arrows. Its fellow is an odd cat-like creature called the raker. The beast tamer usually shoots arrows that make you suffer the Poison effect for a few seconds. After you cause it significant damage, it starts to run away at quite a high speed. However, after death, it drops only a certain amount of experience.

Raker

The raker is indeed a noteworthy mob. After the beast tamer summons it, it will instantly run to hit you. The raker's giant claws can not only deal a huge amount of damage but also cause heavy bleeding. It has only fifteen health points, though, and so does not pose a particular threat. Moreover, despite its aggressive behavior, it can be tamed. You will be able to do that only when it has a very small number of hearts left. It will still continue to hunt you, but if you click the RMB while holding a pufferfish, it will change its attitude. A tamed raker will instantly sit down on all fours and become obedient. You will be able to heal it using the same fish. If you press Shift+RMB, it will begin to wander. Moreover, a tamed raker is much stronger, as it has as many as 40 health points. Such a pet will always protect you and attack your enemies. Besides, you will be able to improve it by equipping each of its five claws with armor. You can do that either by clicking the RBM or opening the inventory and clicking the RMB while your hand is empty. The improvements for the rakers are crafted in a rather complicated way. First, you will need to create the iron claws and then use ingots and anvils to improve them.

Miner and Scavenger

The following two mobs are quite similar not only in appearance but also in functionality. The miner is equipped with the ordinary iron pickaxe and has 27 health points. Its appearance of the miner is very themed and creates a unique atmosphere. You can encounter them during raids and in some locations. They cannot be found in mines, though, because they are too lazy. Indeed, they will obtain minerals in another way, namely by stealing them from the player. So if you have some resources in your inventory, the miner will try to steal some amount of them right during the battle. After that, it will try to flee. As for the scavenger, it has 25 health points but is still more persistent and will not stop at one theft but will continue to beat you and steal to the last. After death, both mobs drop all the stolen resources and sometimes their unique hats or glasses.
