These are new blocks added by this mod. The roof consists of a different kind of boards – willow ones, which were also added by this mod. The house exterior is very nice, and you may even fain to think that this is a witch’s house. Getting closer to the house, you can find decoration and lighting items, such as candles, which are also from this mod. The house generation hasn’t changed, and you can find them in the mangrove swamps. Now, the inner part of the house is worth exploring because there are many items there that the player may find useful.

Be careful when entering the house, because it’s a witch’s house, perhaps she’s inside the house or may be walking around the area. So, be extremely careful, and don’t get into this house if you don’t have equipment and weapons, because unpleasant surprises are awaiting you. Inside, it’s rather spacious, the entire house consists of one room with no barriers. There are a lot of blocks and items that will be useful for your doing magic. It includes altar, jars with ritual herbs, and the most important thing, there’s a mixing cauldron, where almost all the resources of the mod are created. But we’ll talk about this cauldron later because this house is not the only structure added by this mod.

Witch Settlement

Sometimes, you can find an entire witch settlement in the swamps, which looks rather unusual. The fact is that all the buildings aren’t standing on the ground but are floating above it. All the buildings are 5-6 blocks above it, but sometimes there are more of supports due to the terrain specifics. But in general, the entire settlement is located at the equal height. There aren’t many buildings in the settlement; there are far more paths to reach various places. There are totally 3 buildings, which perform different functions. In some places, grows a willow that has a separate territory. There’s also a location for open crops, where you can find various flowers from this mod, as well as wheat.

The inner part of the buildings in this settlement is quite interesting as well. You can find various resources for witch magic, altars, rare types of herbs, and much more. And of course, these buildings are witchy, so almost in all of them lives a witch, so be extremely careful, because they can suddenly attack you. If you managed to defeat these witches, be sure to take all the new resources, since you’ll need them for various crafts and doing magic. Perhaps, the most valuable resources are hidden in one of the largest houses, because here you can find an unusual breastplate that gives certain privileges, but we’ll talk about it a bit later, because you can craft it yourself.

Another new biome

And the last location added by this mod is the willow forest. The structure of the local ground resembles a swamp, but there’s far less water accumulated here. Instead of the common water lilies, a new flower – a lily grows on the water. Willow trees take up most of the biome. You can chop them down and use logs in just the same way as vanilla logs, as building materials for example. Houses are also generated in this biome; so, there’s a good reason to visit this forest. New flowers are growing on the ground, including belladonna and mandrake.

New items

Well, perhaps the most interesting part of this mod is crafting new resources for everyday survival. To start developing, you need to craft a mixing cauldron. If you don’t want to spend iron to craft it, just visit a witch’s house or the whole settlement, because they have these cauldrons. But if your resources allow you to craft this block, then connect 2 torches, 5 iron nuggets and a cauldron on the workbench. The cauldron is quite easy to use. The main thing is to know the crafts and always to carry a bucket of water or lava, depending on the craft. Let’s get down to exploring the items that can be crafted in this cauldron.

Infused Cloth

This is one of the items crafted in this cauldron. This item is a resource for crafting a new armor, or rather even a witch’s mantle. The armor has 3 elements – a hat, a breastplate, and boots, without any greaves here. Therefore, you’ll need a lot of this infused cloth, as many as 17 pieces, if you want to craft the entire set. To craft one such cloth, you’ll need 2 black dyes, 4 leathers, and 2 threads. To use all these ingredients, open the graphical interface of the cauldron by right-clicking on it. But first fill the cauldron with water to trigger the entire process. After that, put the required resource in each cell, after which the mixing process will begin.

If you’ve crafted enough infused cloth, you can start crafting witch armor. Its characteristics are almost the same as ones of the Netherite armor, which means you can use them in tough battles. Thus, you won’t have to waste a lot of time on mining Netherite, because you can easily craft the witch armor, which looks splendid.

War Hammer

Another item crafted in the cauldron and used as a weapon. In terms of its characteristics, it’s entirely equal to the Netherite sword. That is, the War Hammer deals 8 damage points per blow, and its attack speed is 1.6 points. It’s rather difficult to craft, because you need a Netherite ingot, 2 diamonds, 2 iron ingots, and 3 mahogany boards. Start with pouring a bucket of lava into the mixing cauldron, and after that add the ingredients required.

Unique items

Perhaps, the most interesting thing is a broom. After all, it makes it possible for you to fly around the world without being afraid of dangerous mobs on the ground.
