Have you ever met wizards? Oh, yes, there are none in Minecraft, and the only «magic»-related mobs are witches, but their attitude to the player isn’t very positive. But we have prepared a new mod for you that adds real wizards to Minecraft. They are rather hard to find, since they live in the snow biome, but you can trade with them and get unique items. All this becomes possible thanks to the Helpful Wizards add-on, which we’ll talk about in this article. Be ready for a tough journey, since their tower is hard to reach…

The Helpful Wizards mod adds a new category of creatures to Minecraft – wizards. They spawn on mountain peaks only, and their tower is hard to find and is rarely generated, so you’ll have problems with it. You’ll have to spend a lot of time to find wizards in regular survival mode. But believe me, it’s worth it, because these «guys» can sell and exchange interesting artifacts in the game, and these items will surely come in handy for your survival.

Wizards are a separate category of civilians, but they look completely different. They are wearing a pleasant blue robe, and at the same time they have a whitish beard. In fact, every such resident watches the player with a kind of smile and stands out with a special emotion in comparison with the vanilla version. But this is just the outer shell of the creature, and here the author just created pleasant textures and cool behavior for the mob. They’ll exchange unique and useful items with the players, and the exchange principle is the same as that of civilians: you need to approach them, right-click, and start trading, exchanging one resource for another.

Every wizard is ready to buy your echo fragments and sell you unique staffs. When using each of the staffs, the player can receive positive effects, and in the screenshots, you can see what options the wizards offer you. For example, you can get an item that will give you level III resistance, level III regeneration, level III strength, or absorb damage. At the same time, the staff itself gives +9 damage to the attack. Just imagine how you can attack mobs or other creatures with such a weapon. Staffs differ in color and, respectively, certain characteristics.

For example, a red item will be much «cooler» than a blue one, but here you’ll have to look for wizards who sell the best weapon items. When buying, study the characteristics of each staff thoroughly (the system allows you to check all the parameters before the player pays for the product). All you’ll have to give is echo shards. You can find them in ancient cities – one of the newest structures in Minecraft. They spawn mainly in chests, about 1-3 pieces at a time. As you see, the material is quite rare, and if you have a certain number of these items, immediately look for the wizard’s tower.

You can use the staff any time, and it always provides the effects stipulated in the characteristics. However, to use it, you’ll need «Staff Charge». They spawn in great numbers in chests scattered in the wizard’s tower. Be sure to go up and down of this location and check all the chests. In one such trip, you can collect a few stacks of charges to use them for staffs in the future. This system is applicable to any kind of items, so stock up on them, buy them from players if the Helpful Wizards mod is installed on the server, and be sure to enchant the staff for rigidness.

How can you find the location, you may ask? The wizard’s tower is a rare location in the game world, but we suggest taking Elytras and fly over all mountain biomes. These can be both winter biomes and summer biomes. Also, there is a command /locate structure helpfulwizards:tower, which allows you to teleport to the nearest tower. Sometimes the system teleports you directly to the blocks of the mountain biome, and here you just need to choose a different height. As a result, it will be much easier to find the tower in creative mode, but we still recommend that you do it in the regular survival so that it is more interesting. Be sure to mark the place so that not to forget where this location is.

Well, it’s an interesting and unique mod that attracts with its content. You’ll have an additional goal in Minecraft, or rather, even two of them: to find echo shards in the ancient city and find the wizard’s tower to exchange resources for a unique staff. Just don’t rush to trade right away with the first NPC you come across. Walk around the tower, see how many mobs there will be at different levels, and check everyone’s prices. Then, choose the best option and buy. Be sure to pay attention to the staff characteristics and collect charges from the chests, or other players will do it for you…
