GeOre

It is a small decorative mod that adds various new geodes to your dungeons. Thus, besides the vanilla amethyst, you will now be able to find geodes of other ores and mine their blocks or crystals.

In total, the game world will now feature nine new geodes consisting of the vanilla ores, beginning with coal and ending with redstone. It will be not difficult to find them since they will generate quite often and be large. You will be able to get both the blocks themselves and crystals, but never the budding blocks, as in the case of the vanilla amethyst. In fact, though, the geodes are rather decorative than functional. Indeed, their blocks look beautiful and uncommon, and the crystals slightly glow in the dark, but you will not be able to get ore from the newly mined crystals. So the only purpose of the latter will be crafting the vanilla spyglasses and the decoration of various premises.

Besides the vanilla ore geodes, the mod adds two altogether new ones — sapphire and topaz. They are as functional as others, though: they are just eye-pleasing and will be useful for building or crafting spyglasses.
