Formations Nether is a recently released Minecraft mod, which due to its topic has already become popular. The developers of this mod have a second mod – Formations Overworld, which has become equally popular among users. By the way, the mods have one and the same topic. This mod – Formations Nether adds a lot of structures for the Nether, which used to be empty and boring, since there weren’t many locations to explore. This mod will do everything so that the player doesn’t feel bored in the Nether, because now you can find numerous dungeons that fill up this world. By installing the Formations Overworld mod, you can get structures for the ordinary world. The mod has been developed for the current game version, so you can enjoy all the add-ons for new versions. There are more than 20 structures available now; the author may add even more in the upcoming updates, since some of the mod’s features made many players really like it. The case is that all the structures have been created from vanilla blocks, so there aren’t any new resources in the mod, only new buildings for the Nether!

The Nether Temple

This is a chessboard-style structure, that is, it consists of black and white blocks, namely of quartz and Blackstone. The temple looks incredibly beautiful; quartz and Blackstone are a perfect match. Besides, the building looks beautiful due to its structure – you can understand that it’s a kind of a temple or an altar right away. There aren’t particularly remarkable moments in this structure; there are no hidden chests with valuable resources here — just an ordinary building to diversify this dimension. But you can disassemble the structure to get quartz and Blackstone to use them for your purposes. Now, let’s get down to other structures that aren’t less interesting to explore.

The Nether Tower

This structure was also developed with the only purpose to diversify the dimension, and there is nothing remarkable about it. The tower is built of the Nether brick and is quite high. At the very top of it, there’s an open dome with a burning fire. There’s no ladder inside the tower to climb to the top, and inside it’s generally completely clogged with blocks. There’s no point in climbing to the very top of the tower, since it’s only the fire burning there and nothing more. So, you can move one after fully enjoying this structure.

The Large Nether House

Not all structures have been developed just as a decoration of the dimension — many of them are quite useful for the player and are beneficial for various purposes. One of these structures is a large house, which looks amazing. The Blackstone bricks and the Warped wood are the materials used to craft the house, whose combination create a wonderful atmosphere. You can use the house for various purposes, for example, just to live there. The house is very cozy inside, even though there is only one room. You have everything you need to develop, namely functional blocks represented by a potion maker and a boiler. There is even a revival anchor that you can take. In addition, you can open a chest with resources. You may fail to notice, but there is the second floor, but there’s no entrance to it. So, you’ll have to build it yourself, and there are barrels with resources atop of it.

The Spherical Cage

This structure is very hard to find because it’s located deep in the Netherite, so be sure to explore it if you are lucky. It has a spherical shape with spawners of monsters hidden inside, so you’ll have to fight. If you search well, you can find a chest that usually contains gold and magma clods.

The Altar of Revival

It’s a small but, which is most important, open structure on the ground that is a small Blackstone altar with the anchor of revival in the middle of it. You can either take it or use it to revive yourself at this point if you die. There are no more useful things in this structure, so you can move on traveling around the Nether.

The Small Lava Temple

It’s a small structure that is very easy to find. Red bricks were used to build it. This is a kind of dungeon with hidden chests. They aren’t easy to find, especially the second chest, since there are as many as two of them here. One of them is in the middle and is very easy to notice, and the second one is hiding somewhere under the lava, so you need to reforge everything to find the chest if you want to get valuable resources. There are very valuable resources inside the chests. You can find the Netherithe scrap to craft the Netherite nuggets of it.

The Small Castle

This structure was built of the Blackstone, and its size doesn’t resemble a castle at all. It’s more like a small fortress with almost nothing inside. In fact, the structure is extremely valuable for the player, because inside you can find boxes without digging anything to see them. Inside these boxes there are valuable resources, namely ancient shards, the Netherite scrap, and sometimes even the Netherite nuggets. That’s not all, since fire rods, magma clods, and many more are stored here. Don’t rush to leave the dungeon, because you can climb up, where there are several blocks of gold, as well as blocks of gold ore.

The Abandoned Camp

You can find an abandoned camp deep in the wild, where you can stop and relax for a while. There is a stove inside this camp with a bucket of lava inside it so that you can cook a little food. Beyond that, there is a barrel, but it doesn’t contain any particularly valuable resources.

The Parkour

Do you want to test your agility and ability to parkour? There’s a small and not particularly difficult challenge here, but if you accidentally make a mistake, you’ll fall into lava and most likely die if you don’t get out quickly. At the very end, you’ll get a chest with resources that sometimes contains enchanted items with very effective charms.

These aren’t all the structures that this mod offers. Some of them are very well hidden, so you’ll have to work hard to find them. Others are created just as decoration and are very small and empty, but they generally create a completely new atmosphere in the Nether!
