Farmer's Respite

It is a small add-on for the legendary Farmer's Delight mod, which implements the tea and coffee brewing mechanics.

Plants

The mod adds two new plants to the game: the tea bush and wild coffee bush. You will be able both to find them in the game world and buy ready-made leaves from a merchant. These plants can be grown on your own plot. They will give you tea leaves and coffee beans, along with some seeds for re-planting.

The tea harvesting process is quite complex. Depending on the bush growth stage, you will get different leaves: green, yellow, or black. The drinks made from these leaves will also differ. Besides, you will be able to collect both tea leaves and coffee beans in a sack and put them in your garden as a decoration or a way to store them more compactly.

Besides, you will now be able to get rose hips from the tall rose bush.

To do that, put the plant on a cutting board and click on it with a knife. Both items are available in Farmer's Delight.

You can use the rose hips to cook tea or a pie.

Tea Kettle

The main item added by the mod is the tea kettle. It is with its help that you will make various drinks.

It is crafted quite simply even at the initial stages of the game. To use the kettle, you will need to put it on the stove from the Farmer's Delight mod.

Then, open the kettle's GUI and place the necessary ingredients there. Besides, you will need empty bottles for the hot drink.

Drinks

The mod adds seven new drinks, and each of them is something that you will undoubtedly want to cook. The fact is that they do not fill the hunger bar but impose various long-term effects on the player or their opponents.

The green tea imposes the Haste effect for three minutes and adds 10% to the attack speed.

The yellow tea gives you the Resistance effect for three minutes.

The black tea imposes the Nourishment effect for 30 seconds and adds 10% to speed and 20% to attack speed.

The rose hip tea gives the Regeneration effect for ten seconds.

The dandelion tea imposes the Comfort effect for three minutes.

The coffee gives the Nourishment II effect for five minutes and adds 20% to speed and 40% to attack speed.

The following two tea types are means for your enemies or companions.

The purulent tea imposes the Weakness effect for 30 seconds and inflicts four damage to the enemy.

The gambler's tea gives either the Wither or Glowing effect with a 50% chance.

Foodstuffs

Besides the drinks, the mod adds foodstuffs with similar effects.

The green tea cookie replenishes two hunger and one satiation points and imposes the Haste effect for ten seconds.

The nether wart sourdough fills four hunger and one satiation points, but you will suffer the Poison and Weakness effects for ten seconds.

The black cod fills ten hunger and nine satiation points and imposes the Saturation effect for three minutes, gives the Nourishment effect for 30 seconds, and adds 10% to speed and 20% to attack speed.

The tea curry fills ten hunger and eight satiation points and imposes the Resistance effect for ten seconds. It requires a pan from Farmer's Delight.

The blazing chili replenishes ten hunger and four satiation points and gives the Fire Resistance effect for one minute. It also requires the pan.

The coffee cake is divided into pieces, each of which fills two hunger and 0.5 satiation points and imposes the Nourishment and Speed effects for 20 seconds.

Each piece of the rose hip pie replenishes four hunger and 0.5 satiation points and gives the Speed and Regeneration effects for 20 seconds.
