EnhancedVisuals – new effects in Minecraft

A typical Minecraft player has a slow-paced and routine life: goes to a mine and extracts different types of resources, materials, valuable ores, sometimes deals with mobs, visits different dimensions and just focuses on certain tasks. The EnhancedVisuals mod review

The visual component is an important aspect of any game and of Minecraft too. But the developers mainly focus on textures, working on the appearance of biomes, mobs, and to improve the graphics in the game and add more effects, enthusiasts have to create their own universal projects. That’s why many different shaders and texture packs have appeared, but they often «load» your PC, even if it’s rather powerful. For users with lower configurations, there’s no point in describing anything at all, because they face problems with normal and adequate performance even without shaders, don’t they?

That’s why it’s better to use the EnhancedVisuals mod to change and add some visual effects. · If you are in a biome with the high temperature, the player gets hot and stuffy. A small frame with a red glow on the edges appears on the screen, and will disappear only after the temperature drops or you move to another biome;

· If the player is in a snowy biome and feels cold, then the screen is covered with a small «ice crust», which creates certain problems with normal survival and movement in Minecraft;

· If mobs damage you, then drops of blood appear on the screen, and their intensity and «splashes» largely depend on the number of blows made by creatures;

· If the player sees a Creeper, the «mental clouding» visual effect is applied, and everything around blurs and becomes smeared;

· If a Creeper explodes in front of you, there will be an additional death effect and damage from it, which you have never seen before in Minecraft. You can die a couple of times to watch such changes;

· If a player falls from a great height, takes damage from cacti, fire, then blood drops will also be displayed on the screen;

· If your character is drowning, then drops are displayed on his screen, and each time there are more and more of them;

· If you jump into a water biome or come up for a second, the screen is blurred and smeared, as if drops of water remained on the eyelashes of the character;

· If an Enderman is looking at the player, and you also do not look away, after a few seconds flashes, lightning, flickering will begin to appear on the screen, making it difficult to view the picture behind the screen normally.

As you can see, there are a lot of effects, and the developer of the EnhancedVisuals mod wanted to «revive» Minecraft a bit so that it is more dynamic. You don’t need to enable shaders, reduce the graphics to «zero», or suffer from low performance. This is quite a good add-on that doesn’t particularly load your computer and works correctly on almost any assembly.
