End Reborn: A Mod That Improves the End

A mod called End Reborn will add a lot of interesting mobs, weapons, and blocks to the game, as well as improve the End.

Traveling around the game world, you will notice flying islands that remind you of the End dimension. Under one of the obsidian columns, you will find a spawner of the endermites, which will try to kill you after you hit them. The Ender's flowers will also grow on these islands. By clicking the RMB on such a flower, it will drop an ender pearl, or perhaps even two.

You will also be able to explore a new dungeon type, where a new mob known as the chronologist will spawn and immediately attack you. On the second level of this dungeon, you will find the spawner itself.

Another new dungeon type is located underground, and it will not be that easy to find it. In the dungeon, you will see several beautifully decorated floors, a chest with various loot, and a zombie spawner.

The tungsten ore can now be found in the End. After smelting it into an ingot, you will be able to craft tools and a sword that will be slightly better than the iron ones.

To obtain a material better than the tungsten, you will need the iron hammer and an ender pearl. By combining them, you will get the raw endorium, which you can smelt into an endorium ingot. The latter is used for crafting a bow, sword, and tools.

You will also need the endorium to craft other useful items: the world mirror (teleports you to the zero coordinates, that is, to the spawn point), the magnifier (attracts mobs when you click the RMB and repels them when you press Shift+RMB), and the entropy wand (turns some blocks into other kinds thereof, say, a wood block into the coal block). Besides, the endorium is also used for crafting the obsidian armor.

In the End, you will find several new mobs: the watcher, endguard, and plasmoid. The endguard will cast fireballs at you, just like the blaze, but the fire will be purple. It will drop the end shards that you will need in the future. The watchers will immediately attack you, and their hits will make you blind for a few seconds. It will drop the Eye of Ender and the flesh, which will cure blindness. As for the plasmoids, they will teleport you when you touch them.

Besides, you will come across various new blocks: the lormyte, essence ore, and xorcite cluster. They are necessary for crafting the void forge and various items.

After killing the Ender Dragon, you will get several scales. You will be able to craft the dragon armor from them (which is the best in this mod). However, you will also need the ender string, which is very difficult to get.

To obtain the latter, you will have to kill the boss known as the End-Mage Barclay. It is summoned by surrounding the runic block with eight purpur blocks.

After you complete that procedure, the End-Mage Barclay will appear, which will be quite difficult to kill. This boss will shoot you with the wither skeleton skulls, which will throw you up with the subsequent falling damage. Just like the endermen, this mage takes damage from water. Besides, it will try to chat with you. After you kill it, endermen will immediately appear. It drops the ender string and a part of the End-Mage Barclay's Sword, which can be turned into a full-fledged and very powerful sword that will teleport you by pressing the RMB.
