If it seems to you that Minecraft lacks noteworthy big dungeons for adventures, a mod called Dungeon Crawl will solve this issue once and for all.

It adds a lot of structures, which are bigger inside than outside, to the game. Huge dungeons filled with monsters where the player will literally have to fight for their life, small-looking houses that are completely safe until you decide to go down into an unremarkable basement, castles that are dangerous from the tops of their spires to multi-tier dungeons — all this turns your ordinary survival into a real adventure.

The mod is so popular that you can see it in the most popular adventure builds, such as The Kingdom Of Daldar, FreshCraft, and others.

The dimensions of the dungeons are randomly generated and can be both small dungeons and the very depths of the Nether. The lower you go down, the more valuable loot awaits you in the hidden corners of the underground fortresses. So be sure to explore everything around you, but keep in mind that the monsters below are completely different — fast, strong, well-protected, and armed with deadly enchantments on their armor.

The number of mob spawners from floor to floor can horrify an unprepared player. So it is worth going into the depths only wearing really good equipment and properly prepared for epic battles.

And what's inside? Endless dark corridors that will look like labyrinths if you have no night vision potion. Each of them has dead ends, forks, secret rooms, and numerous mobs ready to sneak up on you from behind and deal you a deathblow.

For you to have some rest, the dungeons feature small rooms or corridors that can give you a couple of minutes of elusive security. They are indeed safe, though, there is no catch in them, and so you will be able to have a snack, heal, and even sleep if you are lucky enough to find a bed.

But if you are brave and have reached the end, a true hellish nightmare awaits you ahead. Such structures are not generated in all the dungeons, so look carefully at the stairs. When you see the Nether bricks instead of stone, it is solely up to you to decide whether to proceed further and whether you are indeed ready to fight the infernal mobs in a closed space.

If you are not a fan of traveling across the Nether, such dungeons will solve your problem with the local loot — the warts, blaze rods, and soul sand will be enough for you for long hours of active crafting, provided, of course, you will not get eaten while collecting all that.
