Dimensional Dungeons

It is a mod that adds randomly generated complex dungeons to Minecraft. Such mazes can be considered a separate mini-game embedded into the vanilla gameplay, which is full of dangers, traps, mobs, loot, and sudden surprises.

First Steps

Before you go in search of adventures in the endless dungeons, you will have a little work to do on the surface. To begin with, it will be necessary to create a portal. To do this, you will need special gilded portal blocks, stone bricks, and the portal keystone. The scheme is shown in the screenshot below.

You can always see how the vanilla stone bricks are crafted in the menu of the ordinary stonecutter. As for the remaining blocks, you will have to work on them. The gilded portal block is created from chiseled stone bricks and eight gold ingots. In turn, the keystone is made from a chest, the gilded portal stone, and the Eye of Ender. The main thing is not to make mistakes while building the portal, as its scheme is very different from the familiar ones.

Then, you will need to create a special key. There are four of them in total, of which only two are craftable, but that does not matter for now. The simplest and initial key is crafted from a vanilla name tag and the blaze rod.

After you have created the key, you will need to charge it. To do this, go to an end portal and hit its frames with the key.

After that, return to the built portal and on the top keystone with the key. That's it, you can go on a journey.

Adventures

The dungeons featured by the mod are a network of various premises with numerous traps, noteworthy loot, and, of course, mobs that will try to stop you at all costs. It is virtually not a new dimension but a set of mini-games where you move from location to location.

An interesting feature of the mod is that its small-sized dungeons are, in fact, almost endlessly diverse. Indeed, even though it may seem to you at first that four or five rooms and corridors are not an adventure in which you would like to take part, returning to the seemingly explored labyrinths, you will find yourself in a new place every time. The only thing that remains unchanged is the initial room — everything will change almost dramatically, becoming more difficult to complete and complex.

The mod is thus just a small but pleasant addition to the vanilla survival. So if you are tired of the vanilla gameplay, you can return to the dungeon maze and try to find something new there. But be careful with traps, especially when playing in the hardcore mode!
