Deeper Caves

It is a large-scale mod that makes the in-game caves mode deep. The vanilla blocks will now acquire more functionality, the caves will feature even more beautiful and unique content, and the crafting options will be expanded with new recipes for armor, weapons, and items.

Blocks

From the vanilla blocks such as tuff, calcite, amethyst, and deepslate, you will now be able to create new bricks and other building blocks.

The features of the dripstone are now used both in building blocks and special traps.

You will now be able to protect your base with special reusable traps that, when connected to a redstone network, will release sharp stakes, doing good damage to the enemy and slowing it down.

The potential of the copper has been expanded greatly. Besides new building blocks, you will now be able to craft many new items from it, such as doors, hatches, buttons, and two types of lanterns that can be made either from ordinary torches or soul torches, depending on the desired color.

Besides, the mod adds four altogether new blocks to the game, which can also be modified in the crafting table or stonecutter to create original building structures from them. Some of them will feature a mossy variant.

In the same caves, you will come across new chalkstone blocks from which you can get chalk.

Rose Gold

The rose gold is a new ore that will spawn everywhere in caves. From it, you will be able to create ingots or nuggets, as well as new beautifully cut building blocks. The rose gold will be useful to you for crafting new armor, weapons, and tools. The new armor is equal to the diamond one in terms of characteristics. The sword inflicts 8.1 damage. The tools are too similar to the diamond ones.

Besides, you will also be able to create the rose golden apple. It is like the ordinary golden apple but imposes three extra effects — Haste III, Speed II, and Absorption II — on the player for fifteen seconds.

Misc

The cave environment will now feature two new bushes, as well as mushrooms, lichens, and corals.

As for the foodstuffs, you will be able to take advantage of the glow squid tentacle, lush fruit, and glow berry stew.
