Decorative Blocks

It is a small mod that adds several Medieval-style items for decorating and designing houses in Minecraft.

Building Blocks

From all the vanilla wood blocks, you will be able to craft the following functional options:

Construction Beams. They can be made from two blocks of stripped wood. The texture of the latter on beams and supports certainly looks more natural than on just a block.

Palisade. It is a small fence with a dense texture and without the familiar holes peculiar to the vanilla fences made from sticks. It can be crafted from two logs of any wood.

Wooden Supports. An absolutely functional hanging block to place items. It is crafted from three planks of any wood and can be adjusted with an axe — it will be enough just to click the RBM on it holding an axe.

Wooden Seat. It is crafted from a slab and fence. You can sit on it by clicking the RMB.

Other Blocks

Lattice. The mod adds two types of lattices that can be used to decorate walls, floors, or window openings.

The lattice can be iron or wooden.

Big Chain. It is suitable for hanging chandeliers or dungeon decor. Besides, you can use them for moving or climbing up, like on a rope.

Chandelier. The mod adds both ordinary chandeliers crafted from standard torches and the soul ones created from the soul torches.

Brazier. It, like the chandelier, can be ordinary or soul fire if you use the soul sand in its crafting.

Natural Blocks

You can come across the blocks from this category while walking around the map or craft them yourself.

Stone Pillar. It is made with the help of the stonecutter from stone blocks.

Rocky Dirt. You can obtain it by combining four blocks of ordinary dirt in the crafting table.

Changed Vanilla Recipes

The mod brings some changes to the standard vanilla recipes.

Thus, you will be able to create a whole haystack of any shape from the hay blocks. To do this, use shears on the latter.

And to create a giant bonfire, very similar to the natural one, it will be enough to click on the standard bonfire with the blaze powder — which is featured by not all the game versions, though.
