Review Create Jetpack

A Jetpack for Minecraft

How do you usually move across the Minecraft game world? You can use boats, which are a great option at the start when the player still has nothing at all except for an opportunity to cut down a tree. You can also use mounts, but they need to be found, tamed, fed, and so on. After a while, almost any player gets the elytra, which is the fastest and best way to move around the game world for now, say, if you need to explore new locations and biomes, cover a long distance in different dimensions, etc.

However, there are other transport means for Minecraft, and one of these is a jetpack. You can add it by installing the Create Jetpack mod that features unique, unusual, and exciting gameplay you have not experienced in Minecraft before. It implements an altogether new mechanic to the cubic world, but it is clearly worth trying out this device, especially for those who already use Create as the main library, on whose basis hundreds of different mods for Minecraft have been created. Today, we are going to tell you how to fly, land, and refuel your jetpack correctly.

The Create Jetpack add-on is to be installed together with Create. This library brings new functionality to the game, so you will have to add two new mods to your build in any case. As for Create Jetpack, it adds a jetpack that allows players to fly long distances through the air to Minecraft. It works on compressed air and, at the same time, is as easy to control as possible, so any beginner will learn how to do that.

Jetpack's Principle of Operation

This item is equipped instead of a chestplate and is visible from behind like an ordinary backpack. Its principle of operation is based on physics and the effect of compressed air, which, due to its flows, allows the player to take off and maneuver in the sky. The air supply is limited, and you will have to land periodically and charge your device to fly further. That is, there are still certain differences and disadvantages compared to the elytra, but it is solely up to you which transport means to use. After all, the elytra also require constant crafting of firework rockets, and you have to collect gunpowder or create full-fledged farms.

The jetpack can be used either in the fly mode, when you control the entire process, or the hover mode when you just hover in the sky for a while, holding your altitude but still slowly decreasing. Whenever you activate this device, you will see a special notification in the middle of the screen, so closely monitor all the active tabs to have an idea of how much compressed air you have left for the flight. As soon as it is at the limit, the corresponding information will appear on the panel.

Controlling the Jetpack

Controlling the jetpack in Create Jetpack is very easy — even easier than controlling the elytra:

· The G button activates and deactivates the jetpack. Until you press it, you will not be able to take off even in admin mode. The alerts on the screen will indicate whether the mode is enabled or disabled.

· The H button turns on the hover mode. You can go up into the sky and press this key to stay on the same level for a while. You will not have to hold any buttons. However, you will still eventually slowly go down.

· WASD are standard keys for moving sideways, forward, and backward

· The Space button is responsible for the initial jump. If you are on the ground, you have to jump up to start flying upwards.

As you can see, the flight mechanics are simple and even simplified. It is much more difficult to fly with the elytra, so you will certainly not have problems with this jetpack. Just take notice of the notifications that appear during the game. Once the air starts running out, you will still have some time to get down to the ground and replenish its supply. As for the crafting, you can see this process in a screenshot above. It requires the elytra, so you will still have to visit the End and look for end cities.

The new jetpack can also be crafted from netherite. This item can be well used instead of the standard chestplate, as its protection level is the same. So you will not lose anything by wearing it in Minecraft. However, the jetpack has a much slower movement speed, so the elytra with firework rockets are in many ways better in this regard, but much depends on the level of your rockets. The higher the latter is, the higher your speed will be. The situation with the jetpack is different: you just fly evenly in one direction!

Finally, the visual side of the Create Jetpack mod should be noted. When flying, clouds of smoke will appear behind the player's back, stretching from the very ground. That looks cool, and the designer should be praised for such effects. If you also install some high-quality shaders, you can get a bright and vivid visual picture suitable for YouTube and other social networks. By the way, truly cool mechanisms are created based on the Create add-on, and you should not limit yourself to Create Jetpack. Try different mods, and you will realize how limitless Minecraft's potential is.

To charge the jetpack, you will need to place it as a usual plock and supply it with rotational force. The Create mod contains everything necessary for that. The procedure is as simple as possible, but a beginner to Create may not immediately understand what to do. It is better to read the separate instructions on this mod to see how its basic mechanisms work in the game. Be sure to write in the comments what other add-ons you use along with the Create library and how you liked them!

Dude, are you for real? Create has skipped to make 1.19.3 because this is mostly case players don't play 1.19.3 much, sorry you had to use 1.19.2 or 1.20.1
