Color That Shulker! – New Types of Shulkers

How often do you think players use Shulkers in Minecraft? As soon as they manage to go beyond the common world and visit the End, most users try to find Elytras and explore islands and ships to find as many Shulkers as possible, chop shells and then craft Shulkers – convenient and multifunctional boxes that you can carry and put in the Enderman’s chest. However, the standard Minecraft functions offer us a limited color palette, so we only find purple Shulkers and have to repaint them later…

Would you like to find red, green, blue and other types of Shulkers in addition to purple ones in the game world of Minecraft? It would be much more interesting if they could have different options and deal different types of damage, wouldn’t it? In fact, this is the function the Color That Shulker mod adds. With this add-on, you’ll diversify the End world, will find different types of Shulkers in the game, with each type of them having its own attack style, certain abilities, and different tricks. From now on, getting Elytras or killing this creature won’t be so easy…

The Color That Shulker Mod Review

Different types of Shulkers will have different features in the game. Now it’s not just a mob that can impose a levitation effect on you. Here, you’ll need to pay attention to the color of the Shulker. Below, you can find a complete list of colors and all the features corresponding to this living being:

· Red Shulker – as soon as the thrown ball reaches the target, it explodes and deals additional damage;

· Orange Shulker – adds fire when hits;

· Yellow Shulker – summons lightning, which will take away damage when hitting the player. Usually, it hits the target right away when you find this kind of mob;

· Lime Shulker – steals 1 experience point from the player when dealing damage to them. Now, it won’t be just HP that you lose but accumulated experience as well;

· Green Shulker – everything will grow under the block, as if you are using bone meal. The mechanics isn’t well-thought, but if you spawn this creature in the ordinary world or transport it with a portal, you can keep sowing and irrigating the surrounding area;

· Light Blue Shulker – freezes the player when it hits, as if you are in a winter biome now;

· Blue Shulker – there’s a certain chance that it’ll block arrows before they hit, so it isn’t particularly effective to use bows against this mob in Minecraft

· Turquoise Shulker – shoots the player and imposes the «Slowness» effect on them;

· Purple Shulker – has a 25% chance to explode Endermite when hitting a player. Unique mechanics that will be hard to avoid, especially during an intense combat;

· Magenta Shulker – imposes the «Nausea» effect when hit the player with a thrown ball;

· Pink Shulker – you’ll get the rapid levitation effect, so this mob doesn’t particularly fight the player back;

· White Shulker – imposes the long levitation effect on you, and if you don’t want to fall from high above and be additionally damaged, be sure to carry potions and milk;

· Light Gray Shulker – imposes the «Weakness» effect when hits;

· Gray Shulker – deals a bit of damage to the player and imposes the «Slowness» effect;

· Black Shulker – has more health points and is a serious opponent in the End compared to its vanilla version;

· Brown Shulker – takes an additional amount of saturation from the player. With such mobs, be sure to take more food to survive.

Each type of Shulkers is unique and interesting in its own way. You can find them in any location of the End, just as in the vanilla version of Minecraft. From now on, you’ll have to carry more potions, food, and good armor, and be sure to study our content to remember the colors of the Shulkers and their corresponding abilities. Even if you’ve already fully mastered the standard mobs’ functions, you have a unique opportunity to immerse yourself into their diversity and once again feel as a beginner, who has just started playing Minecraft and is exploring this world.

Attention! When being installed, the mod generates a configuration file, and if you want to disable certain abilities of the Shulkers in the game, for example, remove the red or the green one, you can do it in this file.

In general, this is a rather decent mod, which is worth your attention. It can be used both in a single-player mode and on the server. However, in case of multiplayer projects, it’s recommended to post a memo with a description of each type, or it will be hard for players to visit the End at first and survive there, given that there are also Endermen in addition to Shulkers.
