Control keys

Any gadget you take is controlled with hot keys, and it’s recommended learning to use them at the start to construct different types of buildings faster, whether in the normal survival world or the admin mode.

· G – a menu button to select the mode, direction, and other aspects. By pressing this key, you can choose how to fill the blocks, the filling order and radius, and much more. You’ll also need to use the mouse to interact;

· R – a radius. You don’t need to press G if you only need to select a radius for the current mode. Just press R, and the system will automatically increase it. However, there are certain limits here, so you won’t be able to fill more than 15 blocks;

· U – undo the last commands. If you see that something has been filled in a wrong way or you’ve selected a wrong block, you can press the U key, and the system will undo your last step. Accordingly, if you press the U key multiple time, you can undo a set of commands, as in any computer program;

· M – a list of materials. You will be able to use templates to copy and paste template elements, as well as display a list of materials by clicking a single key.

If you want to see other hot keys or reassign the current ones, go to the game «Settings» select «Control» there, and find a separate section for Building Gadgets. You’ll see it somewhere in the middle of the list.

Different types of gadgets

Building Gadget

Building Gadget– is a multifunctional item, which will help you to fill any areas quickly. All you need is to take this device, hold the G key, to open the control menu and select the mode you need. For example, if you want to fill the floor quickly, choose Surface, and if you need to install walls, choose Horizontal Wall or Vertical Wall. There are plenty of different modes here, and you can simultaneously choose their radius in the same menu or by simply pressing R.

To select an item to be filled, you need to hold the Shift key, approach this block and click the RMB on it. For example, you want to make a diamond floor. To do this, put one block somewhere on the ground, approach it, click on the block holding the Shift key, and begin to fill all the cavities, choosing a suitable construction mode with the G key. This versatile gadget allows you to build quickly using different ready-made templates and modes. If you need to undo something, just press the U key, and your last command will be undone.

Exchanging Gadget

Exchanging Gadget – you use this device version when you need to exchange one material for another. For example, you built with diamond blocks but now need to replace certain areas with ordinary ground blocks. Approach this material, hold Shift, and click the RMB to select this material. Next, all you need to do is to select the Exchanging Gadget, choose the mode you need with the G key (columns, area, vertical wall, horizontal), and replace the necessary elements with the RMB. Generally speaking, everything is very simple and clear, and it’s a very useful tool for this mod, since sometimes you make a mistake and don’t want to delete everything manually.

Copy-Paste Gadget

Copy-Paste Gadget – the device allows you to select a certain area, copy it, and then quickly paste it. For example, if you have a house or saw a beautiful building somewhere on the map and wanted to copy it, you need to take this gadget, select the area, and copy it. Then, all you need to do is to approach the necessary place and insert the contents. But keep in mind that you’ll need a special «paste» for construction added in this mod or the entire set of blocks used for construction.

The procedure is as follows:

· Approach the selected area, take the Copy-Paste Gadget, and press G;

· Select the bottom tab Copy;

· Select the area to copy and click the RMB;

· Then go to the place where you want to copy the building, press G, selecting Paste, or just click the RMB.

In this case, the system will show you that you’ve copied a certain area and its size. If you want to see how much paste or how many blocks you need to copy the buildings, just open the inventory and press Shift to display a list of the required resources.

The Building Gadgets mod allows you to transfer buildings to paper using s «Copy» tool. For this, you’ll need an item called Template Manager and paper. You’ll transfer your construction to paper, and another player, who’ll take the sheet, will be able to quickly insert the contents. Thus, you’ll be able to sell different drawings, which is another feature of this mod, as by adding this function it expands the economic opportunities on the server. Players will have unique drawings, builders will be able to implement any of their ideas and plans, and those who don’t know how to build will be able to get a ready-made template quickly or buy it from other players.

Nota bene! You can move and rotate any building copied in the game through 360 degrees. For example, you’ve copied a house and want to locate it to a certain side (outlet to the sea). Just press the corresponding key or select the Rotate command in the G menu and change the position. It’s very convenient, fast and accessible for any game mode.

Destruction Gadget

Destruction Gadget – the last item on the list, which you can use to quickly remove any blocks in the game. All you need to remove the block is to approach a site or a building, select this gadget, and press the RMB. However, the developer warns us in the description that this element removes blocks permanently. Keep this in mind when using these gadgets in the game.

All the above-listed gadgets require charging. By default, when you craft any item, it has no energy and needs charging. To do this, you need to craft a Charging Station, where its energy will be restored. It uses coal and wood as fuel. If the energy runs out, you won’t be able to use the gadget and will have to look for another option or wait until the current charge is restored.
