There is a lot of information for the player in Minecraft, and some of it is hidden from the eye. Thus, even without a map, the user can still get coordinates if they just press F3 on the keyboard. This HUD displays a lot of technical data, including information about the video adapter, RAM usage, various objects, chunks, items, and some game parameters. However, all this data is hard to read and confusing. It is here where a mod called BetterF3 comes to the rescue.
The BetterF3 add-on will replace the standard HUD by dividing all the information into sections. They will be highlighted in different colors, and as a result, you will be able to take advantage of a more readable and user-friendly HUD, where you will be able to thoroughly customize the position, specify order, remove unnecessary sections, and much more. Leave only what you need, adjust the location, and get even more valuable data in one click. If you still do not understand what it is about or what the advantages of the BetterF3 mod are, be sure to read our detailed description.
The debug HUD of Minecraft features a lot of useful information, but players often ignore it since it is presented in a not particularly convenient way. That is why it is better to use the BetterF3 add-on, thanks to which this data will be displayed in a HUD that is configurable and much more convenient and informative even by default. Important sections are highlighted and separated there, and different colors are used to make the user find the necessary information faster. In general, the mod has proved successful, and the designers are constantly making some adjustments to it.
The player can customize each section in terms of colors and position, add spacings, and move sections from the right side to the left. There is a special item in the game settings for that purpose, which we can access only by pressing F3 + M. As for particular options and features of the mod, we would like to highlight the following:
· The mod has a nice and user-friendly interface even by default, so if the player is satisfied with everything, they may not configure anything at all. Compared to the vanilla version, everything is fine here.
· Changeable colors of each module. For a better perception of information, you can assign a specific color to each section of the HUD.
· Changeable position. Don't like the order of the sections? Are they covering half the screen? Do not worry — you will be able to adjust them as you see fit.
· Changeable and deletable sections. There are many sections here, but the user often needs only some of them. With the help of flexible settings, you will be able to disable up to 90% of the information.
· Adjustable spacings. You can thoroughly customize the spacings between all the sections.
· Changeable background color. It is another significant visual parameter that can be selected for each section.
· Optional shadows. This option is enabled by default, and almost all the text is displayed with shadows. But if you wish, you can disable them.
· Animations for opening and closing. When you press F3, you will see the opening animation for the HUD. When you press it again, the HUD will close. All that is accompanied by certain effects, which can be configured or disabled in the settings.
BetterF3 has broad potential, being one of the best add-ons in its category. Players have to use information from the HUD in any case, given that there are no maps or biome data in survival mode, so if the player is a beginner, it contains very helpful information for them. In turn, the BetterF3 add-on will allow you to get everything you need in a readable form, so it is not surprising that this mod is included in many packs for Minecraft. Be sure to check the settings, thoroughly adjust all the parameters, and customize the HUD. Indeed, each user has a certain resolution, RAM, and video adapter, and the parameters will be different for everyone.
