Astral Sorcery for Minecraft is a special mod that suggests taking advantage of a whole new collection of various items and magic elements directly related to the stars. New Ores

Another interesting element of this interactive world is a flower called the Faint Amaranth. It will appear completely randomly, and you will have to collect it for the sake of obtaining a special glowstone dust. The latter will also be useful in your adventures, so you should not miss such a farming opportunity.

Shrines, Crystals, and Papers

Let us turn to the most interesting part of the add-on related to the four types of shrines. They will generate in different areas of the map with different shapes and useful loot inside. The main feature of all of them is their material, namely marble. We recommend you get it right away, as it is rare and is guaranteed to come in handy in your future adventures.

Besides the marble, you can find the collector crystal and a chest with useful loot there. Each shrine also hides a special constellation paper, which can be added to the inventory to unblock a particular constellation. The mod features not that many constellations, so it is worth finding them all.

NOTE! Not all the temples contain the crystals. Therefore, it is better to remember where precisely you have found the crystals, as they will become an important resource in future adventures.

Resonating Wand

The resonating wad is the first new equipment piece and can be crafted as follows:

1. Two marble columns (or blocks);

2. Two aquamarines.

3. An ender pearl.

But do not rush to craft it, as this is impossible under normal conditions. So you will have to do a few extra manipulations to create the desired item.

To begin with, you need to gather all the above resources and not forget to take the crafting table with you. Then you need to return to the temple with the crystal and install the workbench under it. Then you can use the recipe to create the wand.

As for its application, the salient feature of the wand is that it can remotely mark the places where the rock crystal is located. Thus, if you wait until nightfall and take the wand, you will notice that small particles of white energy will appear in certain places on the map. And if you start digging there, you will eventually find the desired resource. It will thereby be possible to farm it.

Luminous Crafting Table

If you carefully read the Astral Tome, you will learn that after you make the wand, you can start creating a special luminous crafting table. It is created from various marble blocks and requires light from the collector crystal. The recipe can be found in the book, whereas the light can be obtained in the shrine with the crystal.

As soon as you create the table, you should take it with you, along with the glowstone dust and aquamarine. These resources are quite enough to start your journey. But keep in mind that the whole concept of the mod is based on starlight, so, in most cases, you will have to act in the dead of night under the light of the stars.

NOTE! Try to place the crafting table in different places, taking into account the intensity of starlight. You can determine the latter after you activate the table. The more the intensity is, the better.

Once everything is ready, you can start crafting various items. This crafting table works similarly to the usual one. However, to activate it, you will have to use the resonating wand. After that, you can create unique items enjoying a beautiful animation in the form of a pillar of starlight.

By the way, when you create the crafting table, the Astral Tome will give you access to more items, along with the recipes indicating necessary resources for their crafting and other noteworthy information. So you can safely learn everything and take full advantage of the new opportunities. As for examples of interesting items, they are as follows:

1. Lightwell will allow you to accumulate and store energy.

2. Resonating gem will automatically find a place to install the crafting table.

3. Lens will allow you to accumulate the starlight and improve the light accumulation capacity of the crafting table.

4. Grindstone can be used to manually refine the available ores.

5. Starlight crafting altar is the second tier of the luminous crafting table (more on which in the Astral Tome).

6. Linking tool is a special item necessary for the lens to work.

This mod can boast plenty of recipes — it will be enough just to actively use them and not forget to read the information that will help you achieve a good result.

Refining the Crystals and Crafting Weapons

Another interesting feature of this mod is the possibility of modifying rock crystals and aquamarine. To do this, you need to use the grindstone, take a bucket with liquid starlight, and work on improving the crystal. The results will be indicated in its properties, where all the necessary information is displayed.

As for the further use of the refined crystals, you can craft tools and weapons from them. Their recipes are standard, with the crystals used as the main ingredients. The better the crystals are, the better the equipment piece will be.
