And it’s different for all the armor elements. The heavier the armor, the faster you’ll fall from a height. Accordingly, the player receives more damage when falling, but you can also use this feature for the «water drop» effect when you jump and pour a bucket of water under yourself when landing.

The Armor Weight mod mechanics will also affect the speed , of the player drowning in water if he uses armor. From now on, you will sink many times faster, and a stronger force will pull you down, so you need to be careful or use special enchantments, which we’ll talk about further. The Armor Weight mod is compatible with almost all add-ons introducing new types of armor, respectively, it’s a multipurpose tool for integrating new weight parameters and changing the game mechanics on almost any server.

Another unique feature is that now you can «crush» mobs if you fall on them from high above. For example, you can easily kill cows or sheep and some hostile mobs, which often don’t expect such behavior from the player at all. But don’t forget that you also receive certain damage, and if as many as several creatures attack you at once when you fall, it will be extremely difficult to survive. In this case, you can use more health regeneration potions and certain enchantment effects, such as «Protection IV».

And the last thing worth mentioning in the Armor Weight mod is new enchantments. Besides the standard vanilla game options, you can add two effects to the list:

· Lightness – can be applied to almost any armor set, and this effect completely removes the Armor Weight mod mechanics. Accordingly, if you have this enchantment on your armor, then you’ll fall at a standard speed, don’t drown quickly, and can’t kill mobs by jumping;

· Crash – has three levels, can only be applied to boots, and if you get this effect, the damage you make when falling on creatures will be by times higher. The third level will allow you to kill many mobs in a single jump, which is a major change for the Minecraft combat system. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for all creatures, so you’ll have to thoroughly test it.

These are all the changes and innovations available to you after installing the Armor Weight mod. It makes an extremely interesting and cool tool that allows you to slightly change the armor mechanics, characteristics, and add a few pleasant effects.
