Adorn – Decor and furniture in Minecraft

The selection blocks and items in Minecraft has become so wide over the years of the game existence that users of any cubic world can craft almost any kind of universe, build a modern house, construct a castle, decorate a building’s interior and exterior. However, in the vanilla version there’re still problems with decor and furniture, as there aren’t enough of certain elements that would stand out or emphasize the construction’s individual style. That’s why developers keep creating various mods for Minecraft all the time, providing you with access to a huge library of new items and elements in a couple of clicks.

In this post, we’ll talk about the Adorn mod, which adds a large amount of furniture to the game, such as sofas, chairs, dressers, cabinets, particular kitchen items, lamps, and other important elements. With this set of furniture, you can decorate any interior, without loading the Minecraft assembly with numerous extra blocks that will interfere with searching or crafting various items.

The Adorn mod review

A great mod for adding new types of furniture to the game, which is one of the few products from developers in this category, in which every element added has been thoroughly worked out and features several color versions. This mod has a few of specific features that we can outline right away:

· A broad selection of furniture for your buildings. You can use them for different styles, eras, install both in the interior and exterior of your buildings;

· Chairs and sofas. A wide range of chairs and sofas of different colors, which each of you can sit on;

· Boxes. Minecraft has never offered such a wide range of multifunctional boxes where you can store different resources and other loot. They are smaller than chests, but their capability to store items is a great opportunity to combine design with a storing system;

· Stone torches. Another important element of decor and design, which makes it possible not only to decorate the exterior and structure of your houses, but to illuminate important areas as well, which automatically adds more lightning, and the player won’t have to wander around their lands in the dark;

· Kitchen blocks. Prefer to build modern houses in Minecraft? Or maybe you want to build a catering service? Then it’s high time to install the Adorn mod, which adds a huge amount of kitchen furniture (countertops, sinks, cabinets, and many more). If you want, you can also combine a few furniture mods to get even more of different game options;

· Small interior items. It adds books, mugs, a variety of design elements, tables, fences and even chimneys.

The chairs look just great, and here you should use common wool and a few crafting sticks. Just look at these colors and shapes. Besides, you can combine a few different chairs by connecting them. For example, install two armchairs side by side and the partition between them will disappear, and you’ll have a real sofa. Isn’t it cool? You can combine not only similar, but different colors as well. In our screenshots, we put them in a staggered order so that they don’t connect according to this system.

The dressers – are an important element of any interior, and Minecraft is no exception. Here, they give you a broad selection of various dressers that are crafted of all available types of wood. They look like having two sections, but when interacting with the item they give you one common. There is a bit less space than in a standard chest here, but you can store different items there by locating a cool furniture item next to your bed. Now, you can arrange any kind of bedroom just as your soul wishes…

The kitchen furniture also has functional elements where you can store different types of resources. For example, countertops not only feature a pleasant shape, but also can store food or any other items or blocks you may need. At the same time, they look as real kitchen countertops with a coating at the top, and you can combine a few pieces into a kitchen set, using other furniture options from the same mod.

A wide range of tables of different colors, stone torches, mugs, and other elements, which you can use to quickly decorate any building. We haven’t listed all the furniture options; however, this is enough to see how many of them the Adorn mod integrates into the world of Minecraft.
