XBackpack: An Ordinary Backpack for Minecraft

Many different mods that expand storage slots have been released for Minecraft, the content of which mainly comes down to backpacks, bags, hidden cells, and sacks visible on the character. As a result, you not only get extra cells for storing and carrying resources but also visually improve the game. In this regard, each player chooses which mod to use for themselves. As for us, we just try to make detailed reviews of such add-ons so that it would be easier for you to choose one or another mod for your build. This time, we are going to talk about XBackpack, which is another mod that adds backpacks to Minecraft.

However, this mod is not as simple as you might think. It is an elaborate and very convenient tool that is a sheer pleasure to interact with. The additional slots have never been so well designed, both in terms of the GUI and functional hotkeys. This add-on is suitable for most builds, can be installed on servers, has many settings, and basically facilitates the survival process in the vanilla game version.

Review of the XBackpack Mod

It is a really cool and very convenient mod focused on adding extra slots. It features a hotkey system and 36 cells for storing resources, blocks, and other items. There are also special slots for tools. And so that you can roughly understand how to use it, we have composed a complete list of the hotkeys:

· B — open the backpack. It is the main menu where all the slots are available. You can also control your character's armor there, which is very convenient.

· N — take an item from the upper tool slot.

· V — take an item from the lower tool slot.

· Shift + G — switch between the tools.

· G — switch between the slots.

However, these default keys may conflict with other mods if they use the same buttons. You can go into the controls and see if there is a conflict. If a key is assigned multiple times, it is highlighted in red. Be sure to check that to effectively control the in-game inventory.

When you press the B key, the additional inventory opens immediately. Its main advantage is that all the possible cells are also visible on the screen, such as the hotbar, your armor, tool slots from the XBackpack mod, and the extra 36 cells. Moreover, there is also a search, sorting, and many other functions. That is very convenient, especially in cases where the player goes down into a mine and mines a large number of different resources. It will thus be easier to find the necessary items or blocks, sort them, and move them from the main inventory to the additional one.

This mod is compatible with almost any version of Minecraft and supports user mods. You will be able to carry different types of resources and items, and they do not have to be vanilla. For now, the XBackpack add-on has almost 7000 downloads. This is not much for such a mod, but the designer occasionally supplements it, taking into account players' wishes. We consider it one of the best mods that adds extra slots to Minecraft, which allows you to quickly and efficiently manage the contents by interacting with all the possible cells.

If you wish, you will always be able to reassign the buttons and add hotkeys as you see fit. You will not have to craft or carry anything: the system adds the backpack by default, and it will become an inherent attribute of your character. If you die, all the resources from the additional slots will also be lost. However, they can be picked up at any time, as in the vanilla version.
