The Flesh That Hates

A mod that adds a large number of new, dangerous, and the most aggressive mobs to Minecraft, which also look extremely disgusting and frightening. The fans of horror assemblies for crafting a corresponding background and atmosphere of horror will definitely like the mod.

Mobs

You’ll learn many mobs’ mechanics from the first sight if you’ve ever experienced playing an assembly with any parasite-related mod. The same animations, distorted movements, incomprehensible anomalies of the speech apparatus, and with the body models in general. The infection system is generally quite similar here – special incubators with infected flesh spawn and transfer the disease to other mobs. However, this system doesn’t interfere with spawning of the normal, not infected mobs. Besides, they do it in rather large quantities, which makes it difficult to survive on the earliest stages of the game.

Flesh Human. A low-level humanoid mob based on the distorted zombie model. It also inherited its characteristics and attack style from zombies. Drops pieces of flesh (don’t confuse it with rotten flesh; these are different items).

Flesh Sheep. A low-level mob that appeared from an ordinary infected sheep. Aggressive, like all the rest of the mobs, and rushes to attack all the living creatures. Drops pieces of flesh as well.

Flesh Dog. Yes, this model clearly shows what happens to common vanilla dogs when they’re infected. Fortunately, the health level of this mob is rather low, although it has a couple of hearts more than the previous mobs.

Flesh Cow. A rather strong mob based on a vanilla cow. 10 health hearts and rather powerful attacks in terms of the damage amount will make you count with this mob.

Flesh Pig. A low-level mob based on a vanilla pig.

Flesh Villager. When a peaceful Villager was unlucky to run into the infected flesh.

The rest mobs are unique and added to the game by the mod developers.

Flesh Brute. A massive and dangerous mob with 15 health hearts and smashing attacks. Fortunately for the player, it doesn’t have any long-range combat skills or any special attacks, so you can fight it back using the same approach as for a golem.

Infected Flesh. A strangely looking kind of substance with 2.5 health hearts. It has an absolutely harmless appearance and character, because it doesn’t attack anyone.

Flesh Distributor. The mob is surprisingly not aggressive and has 5 health hearts only. However, it leaves infected blocks in the area where it passed, which tend to spread and infect more and more territory.

Flesh Infector. A low-level mob, which, however, can infect all mobs extremely quickly and efficiently and turn them into monsters. One of the few mobs that doesn’t kill but infect others.

Flesh Mutant. A large model, but a low-level mob. It has 10 health hearts only, which is impossible to predict judging by its appearance. However, its attacks can kill a player in the iron armor in just a few strikes, but you can easily avoid this by simply walking around it and shooting at it with a bow.

Flesh Hunter. A difficult and active mob with 15 health hearts and long-range attack skills. No, it can’t shoot to kill, but it can strike three blocks away from itself with its long limbs.

Flesh Hysterizer.A rather creepy mob, especially in the dark. Beyond that, it’s a strong and dangerous opponent, since it has 20 health hearts and higher speed. Its long limbs allow it to move not a single, but two blocks up. It drops pieces of flesh and infected flesh.

Flesh Community. Its appearance fully corresponds to its name – this mob mostly resembles different mobs that have been awkwardly glued together. It has 30 hearts of strength and health, as well as powerful tank-style attacks. It drops the flesh hands.

Incubators

In addition to the creepy mobs and a variety of infected ones, there will also be two incubators in the world (or rather, it’s one, but at different stages). They can’t be considered full-fledged mods, since they are rather harmless, and you can approach them without risking dying on the spot. But it is these incubators that become the sources of infection and spawn of new Flesh mobs, so you mustn’t hesitate to destroy them.

Incubator Awareness Stage. 50 health hearts, looks like a large pile of flesh with hands. Static. After you destroy it, it will leave an infected ground around it.

Incubator Germ Stage. 25 health hearts, looks like a big disgusting caterpillar. Generally static, that is, it doesn’t change its location, but can jump up or hide underground for a short period of time. As for the rest, it’s also harmless.

Armor and weapons

The mod adds new armor and a large fashionable cleaver from different parts of the mob flesh. Of course, they look terrifying, if not disgusting, but they are really cool items that you should craft at the first opportunity.

Flesh armor is as strong as the Netherite one. You can strengthen it by enchanting it. Besides, this armor imposes the permanent Level II Regeneration effect on the player, making them almost undefeatable.

Well, to reach the local deity level, you’ll need to craft the Cleaver as well. Indeed, its size gives it a small debuff to the attack speed – it amounts to 1, but it has a +14 bonus to damage to enemies, which makes it the strongest weapon in the game.

All the items you’ll need for crafting are either vanilla ores and armor, or parts of the new mobs’ flesh, so there is nothing difficult about crafting new armor and weapons but for its high cost.
