At the same time, these transport means look eye-pleasing and add new recipes for players, along with whole new mechanics that you have not experienced before. It provides a large vehicle fleet, where the player will decide for themselves which version of the plane or chopper to craft, given what resources their character has at the moment. Are you ready to fly? The Simple Planes mod adds biplanes to Minecraft, which are the simplest type of aircraft. They are crafted mainly from wood, so you will have to stock up on a certain amount of resources to create any kind of aircraft in the game. In total, you will be able to take advantage of four aircraft types:

1. Small Plane. It consumes the least fuel but, at the same time, flies faster than the rest. It accommodates only one character, i.e., the pilot, making it a great option for singleplayer.

2. Large Plane. Compared to the above version, it consumes way more fuel but accommodates two players. Besides, you can upgrade it and drop payloads from it.

3. Cargo Plane. It requires a large amount of fuel but can accommodate several players at once. Besides, you can upgrade in different ways.

4. Helicopter. It is a different type of aircraft in the Simple Planes mod. It can maneuver with greater speed and precision, so this option is best for overcoming long distances with rough-terrain biomes, ridges, and lowlands.

Engine Types

As you might have guessed, after installing Simple Planes, different types of engines will be available to you so that you can choose which one to install on your aircraft. They all differ in the principle of operation, fueling, and consumption — here, you need to evaluate your capabilities. For now, the following three types can be applied:

· The furnace engine is powered by solid fuel, such as coal or coal blocks. It is the most basic option.

· The liquid engine is already a more sophisticated device that works on liquid fuel, including lava, oil, and much more.

· The electric engine requires electricity, so you will need to charge it periodically using special stations.

To charge the electric engine, the player needs to place one or more solar panels, install the engine on their plane, and connect the aircraft to the energy source. You will see a special scale showing how much energy remains at the moment.

Aircraft Upgrades

Another important content category in Simple Planes is the various types of upgrades that give you a speed boost, the ability to drop items, etc. To make it easier for you to understand the intricacies of this mod, we have described the most significant improvements:

· Floaty Bedding. Thanks to it, you can land on the water and move through aquatic biomes. Besides, you will be able to take off directly from the water, which is very convenient in any location.

· Booster. It is an upgrade that will improve the maximum thrust of the engine, allowing it to accelerate faster.

· Armor. It adds health points to your aircraft and can be additionally enchanted.

· Folding Upgrade. If the player leaves the aircraft with this upgrade, it will get into their inventory as an item.

· Additional Seats. They provide more space for passengers, namely for two more players.

· Shooter. This upgrade allows you to shoot arrows, fire charges, and ammo.

· Banner. You can attach different banners to your aircraft just for decoration.

There are also several other important devices you will have to craft, as without them, Simple Planes would not be able to function properly:

· Solar Panel. It charges the electric engines in the game. You need to place it on some surface and connect the aircraft with this device to initiate the charging process.

· Chests. They allow you to transport more resources.

· Supply Crate and TNT. You can drop them in flight.

The mod features elaborate mechanics of flight and interaction with all the aircraft. The controls are quite standard, so you will not have any problems using Simple Planes. We recommend you try to craft all the available aircraft types and see how they differ from each other. You can create, say, one vehicle for landing on water and another for a runway. With such a set of new transport means, you will be able to cross vast territories and whole dimensions faster, exploring the surface from a bird's-eye view.

All in all, the mod has proved to be a cold and interesting option that expands the capabilities of players and adds many interesting vehicles to the game.
