Shrink – Change the Character’s size

By default, all the character models are the same in Minecraft, and if you use skins or even raincoats, your height won’t visually change in any way, although there’re mods that allow you to download full-fledged 3D models for Steve, with different anime type, full-fledged three-dimensional Marvel characters, and many other options. In this article, we’ll tell you about a mod called Shrink, which allows you to change the size of your Minecraft character. You may ask why? If you’ve watched movies like «Honey, I’ve reduced children», then you probably know how agile small living creatures become, and mechanics is about the same here…

Using the Shrink mod, you can reduce your character and give it access to different areas in Minecraft, which previously it couldn’t get into due to its size. Indeed, you can always break blocks, but it isn’t always effective or possible, so you’d better install this add-on and try something new. Interaction with this mechanics is simple and doesn’t require any special skills…

The Shrink Mod Review

A new item appears in the game, which is called «A personal shrinking device». To craft it, you’ll need 6 pieces of iron, one End eye, a button, and a block of any glass. The craft is simple, but the functions of this item are amazing and unusual. With this item, you can change the parameters not only for your character, but for the rest mobs in the game as well. For example, you are used to seeing a pig small and defenseless, aren’t you? That’s just you can increase it so that it is 20 times higher and bigger than you, which makes this mob look completely different.

<pWell, how to use the device to shrink or increase mobs in the game? The procedure is as follows:

· You need to craft this device or get it through the admin panel, then put it in the active slot of the inventory;

· Right-click to open the settings window. Here, you’ll see two sliders: up and down, with the size indicated in the middle. If you want to shrink the character or mob, then press down. If you want to increase it, click on the top tab;

· Have chosen the size? Great. Now approach any mob and left-click on it, which will automatically make it increase or shrink.

This is the end of the procedure, and if you want to return everything to its original size, just right-click on the mob again, preferably on its lower part, and the system will return everything back to normal. You can use this procedure to interact with almost any mobs in Minecraft, including a dragon, but it will be difficult to defeat it.

In the Shrink mod, you can resize up to 10 points, with the decrease or increase gap is 0.1, so there are many options. But if you want to change your character’s look and size, then the procedure is slightly different:

· Craft the device and put it in your inventory;

· Hold down Shift and choose the size for your character;

· Next, exit the menu, press Shift again and right-click on the character, after which it will change its size.

Important to know! If you try to switch the game view with F5, the character’s large size won’t allow you to watch because of its massive back. This is inconvenient, so you’d better stick to the usual and standard mode, even if you’ve chosen the maximum size for the player. If you reduce Steve, it won’t create any difficulties for changing the mode, and you can easily switch to F5 in any launcher, including TLauncher.

These are actually all the functions that the Shrink mod adds. Now, any of you will be able to reduce or increase mobs, characters, and players quickly, using a single device only. But keep in mind that their basic properties, characteristics, and abilities will remain the same. For example, if you reduce the creeper, it will still inflict the same damage to buildings and the player. The same is true for Ifrits, Ghasts, Zombies, and all other creatures available in the vanilla game version. This mod is rather an opportunity for your character to crawl through various small cracks to see hidden locations or some kind of dungeons.

The Shrink mod can also be used as an alternative to pixel art. Why creating a statue from scratch when you can enlarge any mob, having previously spawned it in the game world and install it at any place of the cubic space? Here, it’s up to every player to decide how to use all the advantages and options of the mod, but this add-on surely deserves your attention.
