Pyromancer for Minecraft is a major add-on that improves combat and other mechanics by adding a large number of fire-related items. At first, it may seem that this is not quite enough. Pyrowood Tree

You will have a chance to find pyrowood trees that grow in the desert biome. However, you should be careful since pyrowood leaves are burning and can set everything on fire. Moreover, these trees store the necessary resources that may be useful in your adventures.

New Ore

After installing the add-on, you will be able to use new types of ores. There will be two types of them: cinnabar and sulfur ore. Both of these ores are needed to obtain useful resources used in crafting. Therefore, it is better to stock up on these ores so as not to experience problems with development. These ores can only be found in the Nether.

Pyromancer Table and Blazing Journal

But the most interesting items are the pyromancer table (it’s crafted from pyrowood) and the blazing journal. As for the table, it involves many fire-related activities, including the ability to improve the blazing journal and charge it with various fire elements.

As for the blazing journal, it can apply various magical effects to your items, weapons, and armor. As you might expect, all of the newly added effects will be somehow related to fire. Therefore, you should get ready to collect and stock many magical resources.

Quills for Blazing Journal

In addition to the blazing journal, you can also find quills that serve as a buff for the journal. There are four quills in total, each with its own effect. One of the quills allows you to apply the effect of permanent burning, the other offers replenishment of hunger, etc. These quills along with their recipes will add special abilities to your attacks and allow you to become stronger.

IMPORTANT! Be careful since using the blazing journal will require you to have the blaze powder, which serves as a mandatory resource. Therefore, you will need it a lot.

New Weapons and Journal Enchantments

The add-on also introduces interesting weapons. In total, there are several weapons, among which are the mace, fire sword, slingshot, and whip. The main features of these weapons are their unique effects and original weapon models. It remains to find these new types of weapons and try to use them effectively.

Special attention should be paid to the slingshot, which has four different projectiles. They will allow you to deftly set fire to enemies, repel them, or attack them with a scattering of gravel. The slingshot cannot be used without projectiles. So, it is better to stock up on resources.

The fire sword has the unique property of teleporting to a linked campfire, the mace hits hard, and the whip can pull the enemy to you. But these are not all the properties available for use. If you use enchantments, you will be able to add three more unique skills to each type of weapon. New types of enchantments will allow you to hit harder, set your enemies on fire or poison them, jump behind their backs, etc. Each property is focused on effective combat.

By the way, the blazing journal can further enhance the enchantments. You only need to arm yourself and take the weapon in your hands. Although the journal allows you to use its unique properties and impose a basic effect on any weapon, you can also upgrade the book with various enchantments that will have a beneficial effect depending on the type of weapon. In total, up to 3-4 properties can be applied to each new weapon type.

New Boss «Unburned»

The add-on adds another boss, which is referred to as «Unburned». To find it, you need to find a gap in the desert to enter the underground cave where there will be a sprout of «Unburned». Then you need to plant a sprout in any convenient place and fertilize it with lava. This will summon a huge mob that will go through three stages: at first, it will attack you from a distance, then it will attack you at close range, and the last stage will give it regeneration.

Apart from fighting the new boss, you will also have to fight the «Wither». These mobs drop valuable resources, which are necessary to create a special construction for an event.

«Pigmen Legion» Event

If you carefully study the mod book, you will stumble upon a recommendation for creating a special structure. It is massive and requires top resources from bosses. But when you create it, you will be able to activate an event called «Pigmen Legion». After activation, mobs will start spawning around you, in large numbers and with different specializations. To defeat them all, you will have to make a lot of effort. But there is also a pleasant moment: pigmen will drop various kinds of resources and valuable items. Therefore, you will be able to farm a lot of useful things.

IMPORTANT! Mobs will spawn indefinitely. You can stop this process by only removing the core from the structure.

In addition to all these points, you will also get dozens of various little things, among which there will be decorative elements from new resources, traps, unusual potions, and much more. However, these things are not quite useful and are created solely for aesthetic pleasure, and nothing more.
