Magic Rings

This mod adds special artifact rings to the game, which are basically similar to the vanilla potions but impose a permanent effect. Besides, some rings are deliberately enhanced to produce more powerful effects than were intended by the developers. The mod may seem somewhat imbalanced, but the designer has solved the issue of cheating in an extremely original way — by making their crafting recipes as expensive and complex as possible. Otherwise, these rings will greatly facilitate your survival in Minecraft, especially in hardcore mode, as you will become virtually immortal and invulnerable — provided, of course, you do not die earlier while trying to get two nether stars and the dragon egg, necessary for crafting.

To activate the rings, you need to carry them in your inventory. Some artifacts, such as the magnet ring or the health boost ring, require preliminary activation, for which you need to click the RMB with the ring on any surface and put it back in the inventory.

New Ores

To craft the rings, you will have to work hard, as the required jollymon ore is extremely rare and can be mined only with the netherite pickaxe. From this ore, you can get the jollymon ingots and dust.

However, the ingots alone will not be enough, as the base of a ring is crafted from a full-fledged jollymon block and eight fused jollymon ingots.

To get the fused jollymon ingot, you will need to mix a jollymon ingot and a netherite ingot in the smithing table. However, you will need eight such ingots for each ring. As you can see, this process can be considered cheating only with great reserve, even taking into account the features and effects of the ready rings.

Some recipes will also require the amethyst. It is not the vanilla amethyst, mined in geodes, though, but a new item added by the mod. It is crafted in the smithing table from a diamond block and nether star.

Simple Rings

The simple rings are those rings, the effects of which are as in the vanilla game. They include Haste, Speed, Strength, Regeneration, Luck, Slow Falling, Jump Boost, Saturation, Night Vision, Fire Resistance, and so on, and exclude the negative effects.

Most rings have several levels. Thus, for example, the basic haste ring is made according to an extremely expensive recipe from blocks of the most valuable ores in Minecraft. To make the level two ring, you will need to put the basic ring in a furnace and smelt it for 600 seconds.

Advanced Rings

The advanced rings include those rings, the effects of which are not featured by the vanilla game. Among them are the magnet ring, growing ring, lava ring, mending ring, and many others that give various useful effects.

Thus, the magnet ring can attract everything within a radius of five blocks, the love ring allows you to quickly breed friendly mobs, and the milk ring works similarly to a bucket of milk but on a permanent basis, nullifying the effects of all the negative potions.

Anti-Rings

In contrast, the anti-rings embrace all the in-game negative effects. The hunger ring, the poison ring, the blindness ring, and others of this kind will hardly be useful to someone in solo survival, as they literally kill those who wear them. However, you can use them on a server to deceive your enemies.

Ulti Ring and Ultra Anti-Ring

Besides the standard rings and anti-rings, the designer has introduced a system of ultra-rings into the game. What it is for? For you to have one ring to rule them all, as Tolkien would say. In fact, this is an almost literal description of their purpose.

These rings are crafted from each and every new ring taken together. The ulti ring is created from the positive ones, and the ultra anti-ring is made from the negative ones. When worn, the former simultaneously imposes all the effects of all the rings, bringing the player closer to the level of God. The latter, in contrast, instantly kills them. Both can already be considered imbalanced, even given the price of crafting each separate ring.
