[Let's Do] Candlelight: A Chef's Kitchen in Minecraft

New Vegetables

Before we cook something, we have to find the necessary ingredients. When it comes to the mod under consideration, it adds tomato and lettuce to the game. Their seeds can be easily found in the game expanses. You will have to grow them intensively and will need to store them somewhere. That is why the mod also adds bags. With their help, you will be able to conveniently store vegetables by building your own warehouse or simply in your inventory.

Besides, if you want to add beauty to your crops, you will be able to take advantage of small roses. They can be crafted quite simply: three such roses require one vanilla rose bush.

Cookery

Let us now turn to the most interesting part, namely cooking! Before you approach the oven, you should change into a real chef. It will not be difficult to craft the proper uniform.

The main device of any chef is an oven. This add-on brings as many as eleven oven types. When you stand at them, you get the Fire Resistance II effect.

This is what the workshop of a future chef looks like. It is not surprising that the mod adds as many as eleven more types of kitchen furniture. Some of them can be seen in the screenshots below:

The new kitchen furniture set includes the following:

- a table and a chair at which you can sit or even put a dish on;

- a two-block wide table;

- oven;

- a sink to wash vegetables and hands, as any kitchen should be clean and sterile;

- cupboards and cabinets to store cooking ingredients;

- stands;

- shelves;

As for the cookery itself, this mod will allow you to apply as many as three cooking methods:

- simple (in the crafting table);

- using a frying pan;

- in a saucepan;

Take, for example, the tomato soup and bolognese.

The tomato soup is cooked in the saucepan. To do that, you need to place the pan on the stove, put the necessary ingredients, and wait.

The bolognese is cooked in the frying pan. The procedure is basically the same, but we should take the frying pan and place it on the stove, holding the Shift button.

If you have only one oven and have nowhere to put the kitchen utensils, do not worry — the designer has thought about this point and added a special bar for that. It is fixed on the wall and complements the kitchen atmosphere.

You will be able to put cooked dishes in a buffet, which resembles the ordinary chest in terms of storage space.

Repast

The mod adds numerous items that will allow you to create a true restaurant atmosphere in the game world, beginning with eye-pleasing sofas and a table and ending with all the necessary cutlery, including a plate, napkins, and glasses.
So that you can feel yourself as if you are in a restaurant, the mod adds a table sign, thanks to which you will be able to understand whether a particular table is reserved or not. You will be able to put your dishes on the plates.

Misc

The mod also helps to create a romantic atmosphere thanks to such items as:

- Decorative heart that can be hung on a wall.

- Gold ring and a jewelry box. When you put the ring on yourself, it gives the Luck effect. In turn, the box can be used to store that ring on a table.

- Typewriter, allowing you to write a letter and choose a recipient and envelope.
