Review Leawind's Third Person

A Third-Person View

Changing the game mode and camera is one of the most important mechanics, since all players differ, and some of them prefer playing from the first person, and some – from the third. Here, it’s up for each user to decide how comfortable it is, what options the project offers, what display size and other devices they have. Minecraft is no exception here, because you can switch between three modes using the F5 hotkey by default. If you haven’t used these options before, you haven’t lived. But don’t rush to test them right now, because we want to offer something new! Since you are reading this review, we recommend that you try the Leawind's Third Person mod!

The Leawind's Third Person add-on allows you to slightly modify the third-person view by changing the camera. Fromnow on, it will be located at about the same level as in the GTA project series (as if a bit over your shoulder). At the same time, the picture and the movement are smoother. Believe us, you get completely different angles, smoothness, and transitions if compared to the standard Minecraft mechanics. In addition, there is also a separate option for adjusting the camera movement, for each player to be able to choose the suitable parameters. It sounds more interesting, doesn’t it?

Are you ready to look at Minecraft from a different angle? Not figuratively, but literally! Now, the viewing angle and camera will be changed in the game if compared to the vanilla version. The enhanced view will provide you with more gameplay-related options. By default, the camera will be positioned at about the same angle as in GTA, moving smoothly behind the player, allowing to center, set flexible settings, if the player needs it. To do this, just hold the Z button and press Caps Lock to change the position. It’s a pretty convenient configuration system that allows the user to configure the camera to suit any screen resolution.

The screenshots hardly demonstrate how convenient the Leawind’s Third Person mod is, however, we will list the key points of this add-on so that you understand whether it’s worth installing the mod in your assembly or not:

· More accurate shooting. This is probably one of the key points for most players, because with the Leawind’s Third Person mod, you can aim at a certain mob or player by times faster from a third person. In addition, the mod smartly predicts where the player will move the pointer to;

· Smart aiming mode. This is what we talked about in the previous paragraph. The system will automatically switch to this mode, considering the items the player is holding at the moment. At the same time, you can set the weapons, for which you want to enable or disable smart aiming;

· Smooth mode switching. If you press the F5 button, you’ll see the modes smoothly switching: from the first to the third person. There wasn’t such an option in the vanilla version of Minecraft;

· Camera settings. As we’ve already said before, you can fine-tune the camera position in the game even in third-person mode, for which you need to hold the Z key, as well as use the mouse to scroll. This is a convenient system that allows you to select the optimal position in a couple of clicks, depending on the screen resolution and connected devices;

· A quick perspective shift. By quickly pressing Caps Lock in the game, you’ll be able to quickly change the camera’s centering, for example, to the right, left, or to the center;

· Transparency. In the game, you can make the character’s body transparent so that its texture doesn’t overlap the camera. This is convenient in the aiming mode;

· Key binding to switch modes.

In general, there are many useful features among the Leawind's Third Person mod’s functions, although the mod has only one option – to change the third person mode. The vanilla version of Minecraft has an extremely clumsy and simple display version, although most players are used to it. After installing this add-on, at first, it may seem that playing in this mode isn’t particularly convenient. But it will take just a few hours to feel how cool it is. Therefore, be sure to install Leawind’s Third Person in your assembly and give all these options a try.

While writing this article, we also installed the mod and tested its key features. An interesting control system that enables you to turn to the character, look in front of his face, and point the camera the way you like. If you bring the camera too quickly or close, scroll the mouse, and the character will become transparent for a few seconds, which we also talked about before. In general, it’s an interesting and multifunctional mod that is a must-have in the assembly of every Minecraft player. Customize the configuration or use the default parameters, which are enough for most tasks.
