Review Items Displayed [Fabric]

Beautifully Displayed Items in Minecraft

There are few items in Minecraft that you can use for decoration, and the vanilla version offer a limited choice, alas. But even if you want to demonstrate certain items or elements, all you can do is to hang a frame and put the desired item or block in it. There are no other alternatives either, although the Mojang developers could add something, because the visual part plays an important role in Minecraft. But keep your head up. Today, you can fix everything by installing the unique Items Displayed mod, which allows you to display items in a beautiful manner in Minecraft. This is a full-fledged decoration tool that allows you to change the standard game mechanics and look at items from a different perspective.

The Items Displayed mod adds unique stands, which you can use to display items in 3D style. That is, you have full-fledged three-dimensional models of various blocks and items, and the player can choose the viewing angle. According to the developer of the add-on, he invented his tool for creative personalities and builders, who need it to store resources in a harmonious and stylish way in the game, without hiding all important artifacts and beautiful items in chests. So, if you haven’t installed Items Displayed yet, we recommend taking a look at the screenshots from this article to get an idea of how these elements can be represented in the game.

The Items Displayed add-on adds as many as several important options, which will completely change your idea of how to display items in Minecraft, and how beautiful even standard textures can be. Below, we’ll tell you about the main features of this mod:

· Stands. You can use special frames (stands) to mount items. All the items you use will be added as 3D models, but currently only the installation of templates for armor, shards, and ingots is supported. The developer promises to add more varieties in the future;

· item mounting. You can put items right on the floor in the form of three-dimensional models. This technology is almost the same as in the first paragraph the only difference is that you put all the used elements on the ground. All ingots, forge templates, and shards are supported;

· Vanilla style. The developer has done his best to keep the vanilla style of Minecraft so that you don’t feel as if the whole world has changed. This is the good old familiar cubic world, but now you can display most of the items in a spectacular way and locate them the way you want;

· Item rotation. You can rotate the stand, as well as the items on it to present them in the way you want. This is a precise fine-tuning for each item, but this is the advantage of the Items Displayed add-on;

· Customization. According to the developer, this mod has a large number of parameters, and you can choose the viewing angle and other equally important aspects. If you don’t like something about the way items are displayed, you can always change it;

· Simple interaction mechanics. All you need to put any item on the floor is to press Shift to switch to the «sneaking» mod and right-click on the ground or any other surface where you want to put the item;

· Compatibility with other mods. The Items Displayed mod developer tested it with various add-ons, including global ones, to eliminate probable conflicts.

Take a look at the screenshots we’ve added to this review. Look beautiful, right? Now, you can put ingots on the floor, and you can do it even in the form of a «pyramid», arranging several resource units at once. Such a system allows you to create almost any kind of interior in a couple of clicks, arrange various items, and other elements. In our example, we used forge and ingot templates only, as the author himself declared; however, he keeps updating the Items Displayed mod and adding new options so that you can also place other elements in the form of three-dimensional models.

At the moment, you can decorate the interior in Minecraft using 20 different types of shards, 17 forge templates, almost all types of ingots available in the vanilla game version (there can be up to 4 ingots in one pile simultaneously, and it’s up to you to choose how they will be displayed), and precious materials. Thanks to these functions, the player can decorate any interior, whether it’s a modern style or a medieval one. And if you don’t like some parameters or want to change the item displaying principle in the game, you can use an extensive configuration file in the Items Displayed mod, which allows you to change absolutely everything in a couple of clicks!
