Review Illusioner's Tower

Illusioner's Tower

Minecraft can boast a huge number of different mobs, and the developers continue to develop the project, adding even more various creatures. However, not all of them spawn in some special locations. So if you wanted to see, say, the illusioners in a new structure, it is time to install a mod called Illusioner's Tower, which adds such towers to the game world. You will now not have to wander around the game world in search of these mobs or try to summon them using commands. The main task of the player is now to find those very towers where they will spawn naturally. As a bonus, you will be able to get a lot of unique loot.

The Illusioner's Tower mod only adds new content related to the illusioners, which simplifies the process of interacting with them. Indeed, users previously had to use commands to see this mob in the game. They will now spawn in the new structures in the form of towers scattered around the Minecraft game world. And if you want to know how to find them and what loot you can get there, be sure to read our review carefully. We have attached a lot of screenshots to show you what cool and interesting locations the modder has been able to create.

Review of the Illusioner's Tower Mod

The illusioners are hostile mobs that belong to the illager category, and most often, they could be found only in the woodland mansions. However, that was extremely rare since they were mainly a place for the evokers and vindicators. So if you still want to find the illusioners, the easiest way is to use mods like Illusioner's Tower. This add-on will allow you not only to encounter the illusioners in Minecraft but also to get extra loot.

The towers most often generate in the mountainous environment, but there is no command for their quick search in this mod. So even if you enable admin mode, you will not be able to quickly get to this location. As the designer claims, the chance of their generation is very small, being ca 620 per 1 million in-game chunks. You can thus roughly estimate the probability of finding this structure. As for us, we have managed to find it within about five minutes using the admin mode. Indeed, the /locate command allows you to quickly navigate between different types of mountain biomes, and there was a tower in one of them.

So finding such a tower is a great success. However, it may contain no illusioners at all, and you should be prepared for that. The building itself is a tall structure that can be entered only from one side. At times, the Minecraft generator delivers a surprise, and the player cannot get there at all, as the doors are found underground. In that case, you will have to just dig in front of you to get to the stairs. They will allow you to get to the top level, where you will find a small room with loot.

There, the illusioners have brewing stands, chests, a crafting table, a bed, and several other interior items. From there, you can clearly see the entire surrounding area, especially when it is mountainous. If you approach from below or move from other biomes, though, the illusioners will notice you on the way, so you should be ready to fight back. Be sure to look into the boxes, collect valuable loot, and take potions from the stands. The chests usually contain bows, arrows, gunpowder, carrots, and other common types of the in-game materials and food.

The structure itself is made of usual and chiseled stone bricks, dark wood, and lanterns and looks cool. So even if you use it simply as a decoration or a protective tower in some town, you will get a very beautiful settlement with high-quality buildings. We played with standard textures, although you can install higher-resolution texture packs, say, the same Faithful and the like, to transform the in-game graphics while leaving the vanilla style intact.

If they wish, any player can use the bed to respawn in this place after death. If you kill the illusioners, this building can become yours, as mobs will no longer appear there. In general, as you can see, the new content is noteworthy but scarce. It is more like an add-on for some build using which you try to add new mobs, bring more locations, and populate the game world with new entities. The Illusioner's Tower mod will perfectly complement your list by adding such towers.

At the moment, the Illusioner's Tower mod is available for Minecraft 1.19.2 and copes with its tasks perfectly. You can even use it with Forge, even though many mods in recent years have been mainly developed for Fabric since it has more features and rapid library updates. Feel free to leave your feedback after using this mod, add screenshots with the found towers, and let us know if you want to see reviews of other mods related to the illusioners.
