Hunger Strike: New Hunger System in Minecraft

How often have you starved to death in Minecraft? Hunger is perhaps one of the main reasons why players often die at the start, as it is difficult to find food, especially in mines, and if there are no animals nearby (sheep, cows, and other standard vanilla mobs), it will be hard to get provisions for yourself. Of course, you can just switch to creative mode, but this is not that interesting, right? However, you can slightly simplify the hunger system itself, and a mod called Hunger Strike is perfect for this task.

The main purpose of the Hunger Strike mod is to replace the standard hunger system for Minecraft players who would like to play without having to constantly monitor the hunger bar and focus on other tasks. Indeed, even the mere crossing of several large biomes requires, at times, taking a lot of food with you. By installing Hunger Strike, you will solve this problem. At the same time, survival in Minecraft will still remain vanilla, and the game will not change much, which is extremely important for many players.

Review of the Hunger Strike Mod

If you do not want to monitor the hunger level in Minecraft, be sure to install the Hunger Strike mod and forget about this problem. At the moment, this add-on makes the following adjustments to the gameplay:

· The hunger bar will be half-filled by default, and such a level will allow you to travel without restrictions without enjoying the regeneration of health.

· If the player suffers the Hunger effect, their hunger level will eventually fall below the threshold, and they will not be able to run. In this case, you will have to eat something.

· By default, the system does not display the hunger bar in the game. Once you generate a new world or connect to a server, you will see only the health bar. However, it will allow you to guess your hunger level as well.

· Any use of food in Minecraft will quickly restore your health for half the nutritional value of the foodstuff you use.

· The mod features a special config file where players can adjust certain parameters, say, enable or disable the display of the hunger bar, enable hunger by default for all players or only for a particular group of them.

If you wish, you will be able to use the /hungerstrike command, with which you can change any parameters from the config file in a couple of clicks and get all the information on the screen without leaving the game. These are all the functions featured by this add-on, so if you want to depend less on hunger in Minecraft, be sure to install it in your build. With Hunger Strike, it becomes way more pleasant and convenient to explore new biomes and locations since you do not have to constantly think about where to get provisions, which mob to kill, where to fry meat, etc. You should keep in mind, though, that a lot of the vanilla content is tied to food, and you cannot just erase this aspect of the cubic world.
