Glow Bats is a small vanilla-style mod that adds just five new elements to the Minecraft game world. All of them are interrelated and made in a single purple color. The designer plans to add more content for this mod, as there are very few innovations here for now. Even so, you can already take advantage of its basic features. Glow Bat

The mod is dedicated to the underworld, as it is there that a new creature called the glow bat lives. This mob is the basis for all other activities, as when you kill it, you will receive its wings for subsequent use. The glow bat has only six health points, so you can easily kill it with one blow even using an iron sword. But if you think it is easy to hit it, you are wrong. Thanks to its small size and fast flight, you will frequently miss. However, this is only one of its features, as the ordinary bat can boast the same advantages.

Glow Bat's Features

This kind of bat spawns in the underworld not that often, so its wings are highly valuable — we will return to this point later. It is very easy to detect it, as it will brightly glow in its very dim habitat. So it will be clearly visible in the dark, and you will be able to easily notice it. Besides, this bat emits small round particles. Exactly the same particles can be seen when you use any potion. They have precisely the same color as the bat itself. Besides, this mob has animated eyes. They will quickly move, although it is very difficult to see that, given that the bat flies very fast. As mentioned earlier, it drops wings used in crafting.

Making Use of the Glow Bat Wings

These glow bat wings are edible. Besides slightly replenishing your health, they can give you the Night Vision effect for 30 seconds. So if you get a lot of them, you will not even have to brew a night vision potion.

Glow Paste

This item is created from the bat wings right in the crafting table. You can get two pastes from one wing. This paste is used in one recipe only and nowhere else.

Utilizing the Glow Paste

Having made this paste, you can craft the glow torch. It is made quite easily — you will need a stick and the paste. Moreover, you will get four torches at once. Its functions are exactly the same as that of the ordinary torch, but it emits a beautiful purple light. Besides, it emanates the same particles as the glow bat does but at a closer distance.

Of course, the mod could not do without a lantern, so the designer has also added it. It is crafted from the glow torch and eight iron nuggets. That is, by the standard method. So you will now have slightly more lighting options for the interior and exterior of your structures and streets.
