Epic Samurai's - Ninja Expansion

A mod that adds samurai philosophy to Minecraft. As well as samurai armor, samurai weapons, and the most epic mobs from Japanese mythology.

Mobs

The mod adds six new authentic mobs, which are dangerous and have been taken from various Japanese legends. Textures and models look as eye-pleasing as possible and frightening in their idea.

Oni. A demon at its best. 50 HPs, powerful attacks, looks scary. No one would like to meet this one in the dark of the night. Drops rubies and its horns, rarely – its mask.

Akaname. The kind of ghosts living in dark caves or in places where there’s no sunshine. Burn in the sunbeams. Their power is almost equal to vanilla zombies, which isn’t particularly interesting. Rarely, they can drop their tongue.

Enenra. A gloomy mob that also burns in the sun. Just as its green-tongued counterpart, it features a rather moderate set of attacks and power equal to a vanilla zombie. Offers a double quantity of gunpowder and coal as a drop.

Kitsune. A nine-tailed fox with a fantastically elaborated model and animations. Poses a deadly threat at the beginning of the game, but insanely beautiful at the same time. 50 HPs, splendid powerful attacks, drops its tail and skin, and its mask with quite a low probability.

Onibi. A small, wicked spirit. Resembles the Vexes, but unlike them, it sets fire to the enemy instead of chasing him with a small axe. These mobs have almost no health, 2 hearts only, but a sudden arson is a rather unpleasant experience.

Jorogumo. The body of a woman, the legs of a spider. A strange, dangerous creature with 50 HPs and climbing skills it inherited from spiders.

New ores

The mod adds four new gems to the game – Ruby, Jade, Aquamarine, and Onyx, as well as a new ore – Silver. You can melt Silver to get new Silver Ingots.

You can also get three more new ingots of alloys – Steel, Amethyst steel, and Quartz steel. You can get plain steel by melting iron ingots in the furnace. To craft Amethyst and Quartz steel, you need to combine steel with quartz or amethyst crystals on the forging table, respectively. You can also get pieces of metal or new blocks from these ingots.

Weapons

The mod doesn’t add many weapons, but that’s quite enough. 8 blades – katanas, nagamakis, tetsubos, and others, as well as shurikens for long-range battles. The weapons’ characteristics are well-balanced, so they harmoniously fit into the game. High strike force is compensated by low speed, and vice versa.

Armor

And finally, what this mod has been created for – a variety of cool armor for advanced battles. There are really a lot of them here – only new ores and gems give you an opportunity to craft over 10 types of armor. The more difficult the crafting, the more powerful it will be.

The most powerful and advanced armor isn’t actually armor. Unlike the rest of the armor that will surprise you with its massive and brutal look, the Ninja Outfit looks rather ordinary and can’t boast of any good protective characteristics. But this outfit gives the player two permanent effects – Jumping and Speed. By the way, to craft the fabric, you’ll need a block of wool and a workbench.

And if you want to get another permanent effect – Fire Resistance, you need to combine the Ninja Hat with the Oni Mask.

Indeed, you can wear the Oni Mask and the Kitsune Mask with a similar effect just as they are, without combining them with the hat.
