Residents’ New Profession – Enchantsmith

Most of you are looking for villagers in Minecraft to exchange enchantment books with them, which you can use for getting certain enchantments in the game. If the player understands the nuances of increasing the NPC population, they may well get all the available enchantments and then cut the price at which residents sell these books to you (by infecting them with zombies and treating them). But this is a long and boring procedure, and if the player is a newbie, this method isn’t particularly suitable for them. What should you do in this case? You can install the Enchantsmith add-on, which adds a separate profession to the game – Enchantsmith.

The new profession provides you with great opportunities to quickly exchange and purchase different types of enchantment books in Minecraft, using this civilian. At the same time, the NPC lives in a special house, so another structure appears in the game for generating Enchantsmith’s houses. The developer of the Enchantsmith mod has thoroughly elaborated the exterior of the entire location so that such places in the cubic world are interesting to visit. Exterior of the houses

The new location in the Enchantsmith mod is impressive. You’ll see a completely different house, which is unusual for vanilla Minecraft – a settlement consisting of several different buildings. The main construction is a small tower with its exits all closed by default, although there are doors on the upper floors. If you want to get upstairs, look carefully at all entrances and exits, since they are closed and merge with the overall style of construction by default. The entire structure is covered with purple fur and is visible from almost anywhere.

The main building is surrounded by additional constructions, which are mainly different types of farms for poultry, food storage, and a kind of wells. There are paths connecting all the buildings so that you can quickly move from one point to another. At the edges, the developer of the Enchantsmith mod has installed small columns with beautiful hanging flags. They are really cool: three swirling circles on a red background, as if you are in some kind of Chinese town. The player can hoist them down and take them home.

Civilians

We are mainly interested in civilians’ new profession, and we are here to get enchantments, right? In this building (the main large tower), several NPCs spawn, whom you need to contact to get access to different enchantments. Therefore, take gold, emeralds, and those items you need to enchant. Yes, in the Enchantsmith mod, you exchange them for gold and emeralds, and this is your main currency. Don’t forget about the experience, because it is what we need for the resulting enchantment, just as in the vanilla version of Minecraft.

The new villagers look like standard NPCs, but have completely different color variations – more saturated and bright. If all the civilians looked so cool in Minecraft, then it would be nice to just visit a village and watch these creatures doing something. The style is perfectly elaborated, and the mod developer has done a huge job here as well. In general, the whole building and the NPCs’ appearance are a bit similar, have you noticed? The same style is used everywhere. Even the candles inside are of about the same color. A golem can spawn next to the NPCs, who is used to protect these creatures. If hostile mobs accidentally get here, he will immediately attack them, as well as players who try to damage these civilians.

The interaction principle is the same as in the vanilla version of the game: approach any resident, right-click on them to open an additional window with the GUI interface. Put the item to craft into the left part and gold and emeralds into the right part. At the same time, you also need to have enough experience to perform this operation. Next, cast a spell from the list and get the result. You can even use enchanted weapons, choosing which ones to further improve or apply to the item.

The more you interact with civilians of this profession, the more they will trust you and decrease prices accordingly. Here, it’s up to you to decide whether to upgrade each of them or choose particular NPCs who match your criteria. In general, we have very interesting interaction mechanics, which can constantly bring you enchanted items, show you new structures in Minecraft and just give you aesthetic pleasure from such locations.
