Bosses of Mass Destruction

This mod adds three new extremely difficult bosses to the game, which can turn your survival into a hell. Fortunately for the players, only one of these mobs appears in the world naturally in certain conditions, whereas the other two must be summoned. And you will be able to do that when you are ready.

Night Lich

The Night Lich is an Overworld mod that will spawn after you destroy a sufficiently large number of various undead mobs: zombies and skeletons. The exact number is uncertain.

The Night Lich has 300 health points and the ability to regenerate during battle, which makes it an extremely difficult opponent. Moreover, its attacks are mostly magical, hitting at a long distance and causing quite significant damage even to a developed character. Another unpleasant feature of this mob is that night comes after it spawns. It thus does not summon hostile mobs but a night that lasts as long as it is alive. Given the darkness, hostile mobs begin to quite actively and naturally spawn around the player and prevent them from fighting at full capacity.

The Night Lich drops quite many useful things. They include bones, 3–6 diamonds, up to six advanced enchanted books with Luck III, Silk Touch, Protection IV, etc., and a new special crystal using which you can craft a special staff.

The Lich Staff is not for fighting. You should install it on your base like a banner, as it prevents the spawn of all hostile mobs within a radius of 64 blocks.

Besides, you will occasionally come across the Towers of the Night Lich. They are tall epic structures with a large number of spawners and chests with valuable loot inside. Oddly enough, the Night Lich itself cannot be found there.

Nether Gauntlet

The next boss is called the Nether Gauntlet and is a giant glove with an eye in the center of a palm. It can boast 250 health points and very powerful attacks that not only cause damage but also throw the enemy far enough away. On top of that, it also ignites the enemy.

This mob appears in special Nether dungeons called the arenas. They are somewhat similar to the bastion remnants but are typical arenas with a special pedestal in the center. There, you will need to summon this mob to fight it. To do that, just destroy the pillar in the center, which, by the way, creates problems by itself, as this mob can destroy blocks, and there is too much lava in the cave. Finally, it should be noted that the Gauntlet is a flying mob that can only be killed by a direct hit in the eye, which makes it practically invulnerable.

After death, it drops a small netherrack structure with a couple of ancient debris and a chest. Inside the latter, you will find its own eye, which is used in crafting.

Obsidilith

The obsidilith is a giant and very hostile obelisk from the End, which has 300 health points. Even though it is virtually a stone pillar, it attacks very effectively and spectacularly — with runic circles and powerful explosions. Besides, it can teleport. In this way, it can kill a player in the netherite armor for two precise area strikes. However, unlike other bosses of this mod, it cannot regenerate, which is a big advantage for you.

The obsidilith appears in special End dungeons and can be summoned with the help of the altar in the center.

After death, it leaves a giant obsidian pillar with a shulker box on top. It contains useful loot, along with a lot of experience around.

Besides the main bosses, you will encounter low-level mobs, such as skeletons in enchanted chainmail armor, in their dungeons.
