Review of the Black Market mod

From now on, the «Black Merchant» will appear in the game world with a certain probability, from whom you’ll be able to buy various goods that were unavailable in the game before. And you’re extremely lucky if you find this character in Minecraft, since they don’t spawn often and won’t trade as much as you’d like them to. As of the moment, the Black Market mod allows you to receive the following items:

· Command Blocks;

· Barrier Blocks;

· Agricultural goods;

· Spawners;

· Light blocks;

· Bedrock;

· Infested Block;

· Player Head;

· End Portal Frame.

While previously, for example, in the vanilla version of the game you had to look for a dungeon and build a spawner, now you just need to find a merchant and try to exchange these blocks from him to get mobs on a regular basis. However, now it won’t be skeletons or spiders that spawn, but ordinary pigs, whose meat perfectly restores the character’s health and satisfies hunger. The same is true for the bedrock. If you want to build a secure house and to hide it from prying eyes so that it is impossible to break the blocks, you can always exchange the bedrock from the black traders. However, you won’t be able to remove it later, which is a big problem.

The Black Traders resemble the Wandering Traders and copy their appearance in many respects. The only difference is shade and certain facial features. In the game world, you can accidentally come across such characters, either standing alone somewhere in the field or near their shop. By the way, there you can open a chest and get additional unique items. However, finding this structure is a difficult task, and even the administrator mode won’t help with it, since the developer of the Black Market mod provided no searching ID.

To start trading with the Black Trader, you should take diamonds, put them in your inventory, and click on the Trader, holding a valuable item in your hand. A random block will fall under the character, which you can pick up. It can be a light block, as well as a bedrock, a spawner, and many more. We’ve listed all the items above, and it’s the full price list available at the moment. One diamond gives one particular item; however, you should keep in mind that you can trade with the character 3 times only, whereafter it disappears. Always carry diamonds when you go out, so that you can always trade with the Black Trader if you meet one.

You can’t kill this NPC, and even if you stab him a few times, with the last stab the Black Trader will disappear and relocate to another point. His new location is unknown, but this doesn’t affect your relationship with this kind of the game world representatives in any way. We highly recommend trading with NPCs if possible and taking everything they give. If you install the Black Market mod on the server, you can significantly develop the economy and warm up interest in business relations, since players will be able to get rare items that they can later use for their needs or sell to other users.

In the administrator mode or the JEI mod, you can spawn the trader, since he has a summoning egg. In this case, the trading process is the same as with the standard spawn in the vanilla world of Minecraft. The same restrictions apply, although it’s more exciting simply to meet this NPC and start the trading process. You can’t tag the Black Trader or lock him somewhere. They appear in almost any biome of the game, and wherever you are at the moment, you can always get unique items.

As a result, you get a very interesting and unique mod that provides you with different items in Minecraft without using the admin panel. If you are an owner of an online server, you can easily use the mod in such projects. It will not only diversify the players’ life but will also significantly balance the users’ trading relations and make the market economy far more interesting. But at the same time, it will be impossible to oversaturate this market with different items and blocks, since the Black Traders rarely spawn in the game world and have certain restrictions.
